S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat! I think it was the spiritual successor to Metro I'm not sure. I HIGHLY recommend playing Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl, such a good game.

i think i would have enjoyed the game more if it had a liner story line THEN let me out into the world to do w.e. My whole time playing it felt kinda like a beta test of a battle royale game (in a sense). Ahh see I had no idea nothing like that is explained in game, all i had to go off was "go to the helicopters" I didnt really like this game too much but playing this and Clear Sky just made me wanna go back to play Shadow of Chernobyl again. @@Volky_Volk yep the mod is called stalker anomaly and its free skip it in my opinion and download stalker gamma its literally like stalker anomaly but way better it has better gunplay better graphics and has more emphasis on survival oh and by the way you need to have 100 gb free in your hard drive the modpack has 500 addons in it

100% agree. Most remakes are cash grabs nowadays. Dead space absolutely did not have to be remastered yet here we are. Why not remaster old gems like legend of dragoon, syphon filter or twisted metal ya know.

so i think for the time this game was revolutionary because nobody was doing this randomly generated level thing that LSD is doing. BUT does that translate to a good gaming experience, I think not. I would look at this game as like a product of its time but viewed in a 2023 lens its very strange. I compare this game to like duChamp's toilet art piece "the fountain". The artist legit JUST brought a toilet into a museum and called it art AND EVERYONE PRAISED HIM FOR IT. For its time sure it made people think but now its dogshit (imo), i see LSD in a similar way.

Lemme see today and ill post a comment on how to update. Most of the instructions are pretty self explaintory on the mod page tbh.

hey D! So you just download the updated files (they even labeled them on the site part 1,2,3,4) and place them in the same mod download folder then just run the installer, it should do everything for you. Super easy! Download the music folder too and just drop it in the Soulstorm main folder, then run its application. I didnt have to change my Mod Manger Shortcut but I did have to change my campaign configure shortcut and download that from the site as well and place the folder it came with in the main Soulstorm folder; then make a shortcut from its application. Clarity for NEW 6.0 patch, New Things to Download (everything else is the same as in the video): 1. Download *new* Part 1,2,3,4, Configure, Mod Manager 2. Put them all in the same mod folder like we did in the video 3. Run the *new* installer, let it do all the work. (It updated my Mod Manager but I didn't have to change my shortcut?). 4. Unzip *new* part 4 into main Soulstorm folder, run the application 5. Unzip *new* Campaign configure into main Soulstorm folder, open folder, make shortcut of application. 6. Play and have fun!
