These are awesome. Not sure why i never went for them to be honest. Purple is one of my favorite 'loud' colors on shoes. As far as purple NB's, I have the violet 992 and the purple 993 that just came out a few months ago. Both are amazing and both worth checking out. The 993 will be a lot easier to obtain and it has a cream tongue and with the cream laces looks fantastic. Can't beat the 993 comfort either.

I need a pair of extremely comfortable endurance walking shoes. Been in & out of work over the past 6 yrs due to a spinal condition, I have a bad back. Had 3 spinal surgeries in the past 3 years. I’m just recently 2 months post op of my latest back surgery, and am taking up walking again for exercise. I’m a big guy, 6’1 tall, weigh 330 pounds; so I need a great pair of shoes that will be very supportive of my size and that’ll be good for my back as well. Last week I started walking 15K+ steps per day everyday, trying to get healthy again. I need to drop at least 100 pounds. I do about 3 miles distance in the morning & another 3 miles walking in the evening. I eventually want to do 5 miles per set, walking a total of 10 miles per day. So I need something that’s good for my height, weight & size that’s extremely comfortable for my back/spine as well. The only pair of shoes I got is a pair of NB 574’s I bought a couple years ago and never really wore. They are comfortable, but I doubt those 574’s will last long & I know they’re not exactly an endurance walking type shoe, but it’s all I got. I wear a size 13 shoe.
