I'm guessing just a random gameplay design decision the OGSR Devs implemented. I don't mind it too much, though I do mind that some guns are pretty much useless because of the strange weapon balancing. Shotguns are just too damn overpowered in the OGSR version!

Nah, I'm 90% sure the item I think you're referring to is used in repairing cars / vehicles! (Except the BTR in Outskirts)

You can find shotguns and rifles all over the place! In fact, this is the only OC-33 you can find in the game! (At least the only one I could find... Probably missed another one at some point)

You're justified in feeling confused at this quest! I'm assuming you're playing the OGSR version of the game? well for some reason, the devs of the OGSR version -+decided to change how the quest is done in the way that it changed the teleport location to be there at midnight. No clue why they did it... As far as I know there is no mention in the game telling you how to do this! Its pretty strange overall why they would make this change...

Ah, the text bug? that bug should be fixed in the next patch coming whenever the lead translator is finished with it (I really don't know the exact ETA, sorry!!!) But for now, I can actually paste what its supposed to say, as the text strings are in the files! Here's how the conversation is supposed to go like in-game... (if it wasn't bugged!) Jekan: "How you doing?" Outcast: "Oh, Jekan, I'm tired of the local boars and dogs. I want some human food, like canned food." Jekan: "Can I bring you some?" Outcast: "Why, come on, I'd appreciate it." Game: Mission Started: "Get normal food for the Outcast". (This mission requires you to get Outcast the food item "Tourist's Delight" that isn't spoiled) Jekan: "Here, I got the stew as you asked." Outcast: "Well, Jekan, well done. I don't have much to thank you with, I'm broke now... I only have a couple of badges, I found them when I first got here and was scouring houses for something useful. I found them in a furnace among the ashes and rusty nails. They were brand-new, no sign of rust. I thought that they were abnormal and that I was lucky to get into the Zone, but no. They did not have any useful properties, and here, in the camp, no one wanted to buy, they all said to blowout this garbage and do not engage in nonsense. Yeah, I think I know why its opened for you! If you're playing on the OGSR Version of Goldsphere like I am in this video. For some godforsaken reason, the key that unlocks the gate is automatically given to you once you escape Lab X-16 in Yantar for god knows what reason. Your screen shakes and the key is magically spawned into your inventory. No idea why it happens, it seems like an intentional feature! I said near the end of the video I have two keys "For some reason", but this is the actual reason on why I have two! You then may have accidently interacted with the door not knowing it requires a key, and well its open now! Very strange...

Hello! I haven't worked with Anomaly at all really, especially in regards to its .spawn files. But the tool should work with them(?). If your planning on modding anomaly and not just examining the .spawn files, I would recommend downloading the SDK Anomaly uses (CoC??) which allows you to prod at the .spawn files a lot easier! At least that's what I've heard from more experienced modders.

When I did my playthroughs, I kind of just rushed in and jumped all over the place, hoping I wasn't teleported out. Sorry I cant help you more but I kind of just brute forced it in my original Playthrough

Hey, I didn't know that about the song. Thanks for sharing! I watched Predator a pretty long time ago, but bloodsuckers and the Predator do share many features. You're correct about this mod having too many references. I would say this mod is a good 20% reference to other pieces of media (and real life to some extent) (especially Roadside Picnic and other Novels by the same creators)!

Ah yes, that error! 1 second let me find a way to show you how to fix that error... This website is a great resource if you want to learn about this addon, but Ill try to explain! igigog.github.io/anomaly-modding-book/blender/blender-x-ray-addon-summary.html You first want to go to the "Edit" Tab, go to "Preferences" Search "Xray" in the search function and you should see a tab that says "Import-Export: Xray Engine Tools" or something similar. Right next to the Check-mark box, there should be a small little triangle, press the triangle! Once you do, there should be more options that pop up. For your case, you need select the path on where the Texture Folder is where your weapon textures are held. An easier way to do this is give the addon the path on where the Gamedata Folder is and it should automatically find the Texture folder! Save the paths and restart the addon. When you import your weapon in now, you should see the textures pop up! I hope this helps your problem...

Yeah, sorry I didn't realize it when making the video! I swear to god I remember it always spawning in the same area... Thank you for pointing this out! But if you're having trouble finding it, if you noclip under the map, you'll see a green box, and right above it is the backpack!

@Headshot-pc7mz you are helping us players a great deal man, the only walkthrough that I found for this mod is Wavey's gaming adventures, and you can tell that he missed a lot of quests, while you covered all the angels of each quest, any one who watches your guide should be thankful for that.

What version were you playing? the OGSE or OGSR version? the former is very well known for its scripting bugs... I experienced them firsthand! The OGSR version didn't have as many as the OGSE version, but I still feel like many were left in the game. A lot of scripting issues I feel (while I have nothing to corroborate these claims) happen when you exit the map while you're in the middle of a quest and return to something broken... I'm sorry you encountered so many problems that you had to drop the mod. that is never fun :( If you ever feel like returning to the game, I have save files on both versions of the game for pretty much every point in the game (I made *too* many saves), and I can share them with you if you wish! Anyways, sorry again. Hope these guides help you if you ever return to the game!

@@Headshot-pc7mz i was on OGSR and my main issue was getting the werewolf quest npc to spawn, i finished the female tourist quest and that farm one with the device that removed the anomaly at the tractor/flamethrower quest/and that lab with the controllers but i read on the discord that you should have the werewolf quest completed before attacking the base with the turret quests however after reading the comments on discord for half an hour or so for a solution the only ones i could find was from the user "goldsphere itself" who seemed to have figured it out and then decided to tell others who asked "lol just figure it out for yourself lol" so i gave up the mod itself however is really really fun HARD but fun and aside from the scripting i actually never even had a crash at all after about 20 or so hours anyway i ended up trying GAMMA for the first time instead (after finishing base anomaly) and i have had much better experience with scripting but way more crashes PS: thanks for uploading your videos anyway i only got as far as i did because of them

@@garadak7. Sorry you had a bad experience with "Goldsphere Itself" (Chymo_), He is usually pretty helpful, though I couldn't find the comment you're referring to. I'm still unsure on what issue you're even having though...? Like, are you starting the quest "Devilry" and the Werewolf NPC isn't spawning? if so that's a pretty big issue, but if Chymo_ seemed to know the problem you were having I doubt it was any bug. So mind telling me in more detail what issue you were having? I would love to help you continue on with the game! I am glad my videos were helpful in you navigating the game, though! I am quite suprised though that you played Goldsphere before playing GAMMA though, most people including myself play the Anomaly modpacks way before discovering Goldsphere 😅

I'm pretty sure the item "Gas Tank" can be used to repair any vehicle in the game. I don't think there are item-specific car parts in this game. I never got the Truck up in running in Dark Valley, though.

Yeah, I think the item only breaks if it pick it up in that instance. If you want to become a god, just spawn that artifact in! Also, i'm glad the guides are helping you :)

You're not really screwed in any big way. Going to the helicopter and investigating it just gives you two items you can use in the Military base in the middle of the map. Its not that big of a deal!

Hello! yeah, sometimes, the physics objects can just disappear by themselves, allowing you to enter. The whole Outskirts map is buggy!

You need to start and play a bit of the Doll questline. There will be a point you will need to look for a lost tablet from the wreckage of a BTR, and then you need to go to Sanya. Once you go to Sayna, you'll have the ability to play this quest!

Oh, you mean you want to keep the Ghillie suit (its taken away from you after you complete the quest)? Well there are many more opportunities to get a Ghillie suit in the game! There is one in Outskirts, and there is another special one in Garbage. Also I'm pretty sure you can just buy it off Sanya once he takes it from you!

Yeah, you're correct! Thank you for mentioning this, the item "Morphine" is actually needed for something in Cordon and its hard to get, so make sure to not use the Morphine!

I was in your exact same position about a year ago. I wanted to continue playing the game so much and find everything, but I swear to god the game wouldn't let me with all the bugs I was finding! I mostly made these guides as a way to make sure people can check themselves if they found a bug or not... Its one of my favorite Stalker mods and deserves videos about it!

Yeah, I wasn't able to find a 4th car wheel on this map, only three. If I may ask, where did you find the third wheel? I remember getting a third one on this map, but its not in the video unfortunately!

@Headshot-pc7mz the collapsed building where you find the gas tank and the safe and the corpse of the dead stalker. The wheel will be placed next to the fireplace, no wait it's not there, I loaded an old saved game and it's not there, I have to retrace my steps.

@Headshot-pc7mz now I figured it out, there was a burned jeep on the side of the road in the cordon where the doll tells you that there is a pda with important information on it and it gives you the code to unlock the pda, next to the jeep was the 3rd wheel. I brought the wheel with me from cordon although the car on the other side of cordon is up and running.

@Headshot-pc7mz I found the forth wheel, but you have to use the god mode to reach it, it's in the last truck in the truck cemetery in garbage next to the helicopter with the teleporter, I got hit by the deadly dark smoke anomaly 3 or 4 times when I tried to take it.

I forgot the one on the construction site (I feel like there was one there, I may be misremembering...?). Cars aren't the most useful on the Garbage map since their are anomalies at every corner though, pretty funny riding one around in the map though!

I'm glad you were able to get use out of this on-the-fly modding tutorial. This video is a complete disaster. I may remake this video when I have the time! Anyways, I hope it wasn't too much trouble getting it working! This tool is really old and outdated, but it can still be useful if you don't have access to the SDK's! (Or you just want to tinker around). This tool is decently powerful too I believe if you know how to use it, which I certainly DO NOT. I thank the poor people on Moddb who had to find out everything themselves of how to use this tool!

I saw this comment in the notifications and was wondering "what lag? This game is pretty smooth for me", and then I remembered this video. I cant even image what kind Goldsphere / X-ray Engine jank is going on here to bring the game to its absolute knees on what's supposed to be a very smooth / high FPS game!
