I use the watches that I love, that give me joy. Many are automatics. And many times when I wear them I don't even put them to the current time. If I need to know the time I ask somebody. 😂

I never understood why people buy expensive automatic or mechanic watches Quartz is less expensive, robust, thinner and tells time accurately. Just because something is expensive doesn't mean it's not crap. Why pay $6000 for a Rolex to not tell the time accurately, when you can pay $5500 for a car and $500 for a quartz that will last a lifetime😂

Bench made is becoming overly priced and an overly hyped brand. I’ve had Kershaw blades for a long time. I would also put Spyderco above bench made now.

1. Battery changes are a pain in the butt. 2. Leaving a stale battery in a watch and forgetting about it, can be destructive to the watch. 3. Battery powered quartz watches are not legacy .

After using automatic and mechanical watches, I agree.

People prefer complexity and craftsmanship over quartz which is why people prefer automatics but regardless my Seiko quartz never let me down.

One the winding mechanism stopped working. Edox Chronoff shore, date window came off dial 2 times. G Schock Rangeman GW-9400yj Yellow/Black carbon fiber japan edition is go to watch on my wrist 90% of the time now days. 👍

Wtf is wrong with quartz? More reliable, less maintenance, easy repairs and more accurate timekeeping. I get that its like thr automatic vs manual arguement for cars but still. They are perfectly fine

I like quartz watches, but the one tick per second ones drive me crazy most of the time, because they are just SLIGHTLY out of alignment. If they even ticked 4 times per second, that would improve their appeal DRASTICALLY for me
