I play Sikes in my college's production tomorrow, and I keep looking at other performances to compare to my own, and I play him very slow, very stone-faced, make every movement with a distinct and obvious purpose. Honestly I think it makes him more menacing than something like this, a kind of mocking feel to it

@sonicx666 that lighting is perfect for the song He's the villain. The first spotlight was an amazing way to cast a creepy shadow. The low blue lighting was a great way to reflect the dreariness of the place while giving the scene an eviler tone

I played Bill Sykes in the High School play Oliver. After watching this performance as well as another video, I realize that I didn't do such a bad job back in 1981

This guy REALLY gets it! Good job. WOW. Close to Gorman, and the Pit orchetra is really good here, too. Kudos, you are down-playing the wind sounds. THe lighting, pretty good, but you have to take those specials OUT when the actor moves out of them. In a Musical, once the actor starts singing, the stage is THEIRS for the remainer of that songs (jut as long as they hit that picture by the final note!). His "what is it!" Awesome, DARES anyone to say it - they stay "dumb". Smart!
