Awesome house! God bless your hustle. I am guessing it was relatively cheaper to build this than if you had done an all block house or a shipping container house? Are you able to give a rough estimate of how much it cost to put this farmhouse up? Looking to put a similar structure so will be nice to know.

Yes it was! Sorry about the late reply. It was. I believe it cost no more than 10,000 cedis.

whats the average cost of tilling the land per acre using the backhoe

The operators tend to charge a daily rate. We paid 5,000 cedis daily. Looking back, it should be on a pre acre basis. If I was to reverse-engineer the acreage rate, I'd say it's roughly 1,500 per acre.

@MigrationfromCanadatoGhana My brother, I greatly appreciate your kindness in sharing with me the requested information. I am building a farmhouse in Ghana, and it's very far from the electric grid. I needed a solar street light to light up the place. I looked into so many of such lights but couldn't settle for any. Again, thank you so much for sharing this information.

Love to see your new videos and to watch your progress and sucess. You are doing amazing work on both the libraries and the farm. Holy MOLY! Amazing! I know that you must be so proud of everything you are doing but one day you will look back on this footage and say, "Wow! WOW! We moved mountains and created all of that! We brought words to children, created jobs, gathered community, and produced food where it didn't exist before." Incredible! Simply amazing!

The farm is in Okrakwodwo in the Eastern region of Ghana. The libraries are in Okrakwodwo and Asenema (5 mins down the road).
