Hi. Great video teardown of Phillips Air fryer. You forgot to show and explain what you used and how you cleaned it. People this process is very time consuming and unless you have electrical or electronic knowledge and experience do not attempt this as this air fryer has been modified. Phillips do not use a screw terminal block to screw power wires from the element. They use an insulated crimping connector see video at 1:48. You also need to know the correct amperage of a replacement connector. Your time and life is not replaceable. If you do attempt it, you do at your own risk and you must take photos of each step or play back the video in reverse to view the steps. Will it work after cleaning and reassembly as the element can easily get damaged from using the wrong cleaning method. I tried the above takng countless hours to remove the built up grease inside of the metal splash tray, the metal fan blade, the metal element holder and is not worth it. Most owners will either sell it, give away or throw out after sometime because of the health risks associated with dirty upper chambers. It attracts rodents droppings in the upper chamber and on the element and gives of mists of small smoke clouds when they are used a lot or are aging because of the oil residue and food vapour deposits on the element burning and is unhealthy. What about if you add pepper to your cooking, will you notice or taste the difference because of the above ? The majority of consumers will not attempt this disassembly and manufacturers will not make it simpler due to safety risks, loss of production and profits which cost job losses.

I came here because my airfryer ‘just like this one’ has stopped working suddenly, overheats very quickly and then stops working, does anyone know if deep cleaning like this would solve the problem?

I can see you have done this before as you have made connection to disconnect the element wires. Good job, I have just done mine its the same model.

I have showed in vidio. No screws for the top off... Only push plastic clip with screwdriver in..

So small device and so many parts to be removed in order to clean. You literally have to film your disassembly to reassemble it back without extra leftover parts.
@ryanbaleson13332 ай бұрын
What about using oven cleaner and a steamer turning it upside down and then letting it stand for a few days to dry out out VS the risk. Of complete disassembly and breaker a clip or messing up the wiring
@ZvonimirAnn2 ай бұрын
Not good idea. All the chemical and oil will go in electric parts if you flip it up side down. If you let it stay more then 4hours with oven cleaner will start to remove shine on metal parts... I realy don't like this toy coz it's hard to clean it.

@ZvonimirAnn5 ай бұрын
