Nice quick tutorial. btw @ 6:19 it's not a waypoint that you delete. It's just speed and altitude information of your flightplan 100 knots 23000 feet.

Thanks !! I'm on XP11 with G1000 on C172 and I'm learning how to use G1000. I find this descent system using VPATH in X-Plane very difficult, I wonder if in real life the plane only descends if you select the altitude like you did (blue altitude). I thought he already did the TOD alone, as the departure and arrival airport would already be filled in on the GPS. Well, I'm not a real pilot, so I have no way of knowing, but in the XP11 it's very bureaucratic for it to descend "alone" via "VPATH". Obrigado !! Eu vou no XP11 com G1000 no C172 e estou aprendendo a usar o G1000. Esse sistema de descida ussando o VPATH no X-Plane eu acho muito dificil, eu me pergunto se na vida real o avião so desce se selecionar a altitude igual você fez(altitude azul). Achei que o TOD ele ja fazia sozinho, jaque teria o aeroporto de saida e de chegada ja preenchido no GPS. Bom, eu n sou piloto real, então não tenho como saber, mas no XP11 e muito burocratico pra ele descer "sozinho" via "VPATH".

Any idea why there was an audio minimums announcement at 1,100 feet? The attitude display indicated OK at 500 feet Radio Altitude. A very nice video, thanks. I never tried the Learjet's VNAV or SPEED autopilot functions, too modern for me. I don't think the Aerofly FMC functions get debugged properly, they take an awfully long time to fix some faults. The basic handling is pretty good.

So I open little nav map, I create a flight plan and save it. Then I open flight simulator 2020 and on the home screen where you set your origin and destination, I click on the load from computer button and select the flight plan I just saved. But nothing happens in flight simulator. Isn't it supposed to load itself up into flight simulator automatically and into the GPS and autopilot settings? Am I missing a step?

Thanks! I was trying to enter the manual constraints directly into Flight Plan page (the "Boeing" method") but it wasn't working. Mystery solved thanks to this video.

You know what I sometimes do, I let copilot fly the aircraft until we are on finale then I land it(like Ryanair 😂) great vid bro

As you said, the things they have done are very solid. The devs certainly know how to develop good software. I was actually surprised about the depth of the aircraft. Many things like weight, fuel or direct to are missing. If they add more complex systems, weather, VATSIM and ground services, this might be an alternative to X-Plane or MSFS.

Takeoff performance also doesn’t make sense. Runways that should be easy to take off from at MTOW are impossible with SSG747, you’ll definitely overrun the runway🤦

Thanks. XCub was a headscratcher for me. At first i couldn't get the AP from LOC to GPS mode, then i couldn't change the G-1000 BARO value. It's not exactly intuitive, because a lot of the G-1000 PFDs in other planes have explicit warnings not to touch the display.
