There's a gap in the market for this in Australia. All the cheap tournament sets Americans take for granted aren't available here and the shipping for them from the us works out to be more expensive than sets like this branded one. Unless you chance eBay, Aliexpress, or other channels. Making a retail price of 99 AUD including tax seem like a good choice compared to the competition, which is 60 USD after GST tax at the moment. Which is what this set seems to be going for on Amazon in the US anyway. $99 AUD is the sweet spot.

Onslaught is to expensive. 140€ ? That's on par with a Warcry set, which contains much better minis i.e. higher quality (not painted, but still) and tons of terrain. You also can't explain this with "inflation". It seems that investors want to keep their 10..20% ROI and that's driving the prices much more than paying staff, materials and transportation. ROB from Miniature Market showed the pitiful contents of tye box. Esp. the "terrain" was just painful to watch. A wall mad from thin cardboard maybe 3mm x 50mm? smh The maps look good though.

So the cost of the hobby is only going up. As consumers were getting less and even shoddy miniatures. it's getting to expansive. YIKES!

Full wall ..or.. Half wall. I go for half wall as standard. But, full wall is good for multi-story stacking and special effects. Good luck! I love these!

Hi! I play with these, collect them (have almost 1000 of them) and love them to death. I have one question though related to silver color in gemini dices. I have seen in my collection that dices larger then 12mm have some kind of spots in silver material.. air bubbles or something like that. Is that issue from one bath or is it normal because of physical character of that material?

I just don't understand why the cost is so high for plastic weighted pieces and a silicone board. No storage just the box and I hear they now have a bag for the pieces. Convince me I am in the market for a set.

Plastic pieces and a roll up board? That makes it in my opinion automatically impossible to be the best chess set ever. no wood = no good Not to say I have anything against roll up boards and plastic pieces. Hell, I have one myself for travelling. But It's not the best chess board because these types of chess boards are by definition not designed to be the best. They are designed to be affordable and easy to carry around. Now 'the best' can mean a lot of things, like 'the best plastic casual board' or something, so it's still an opinion. Nevertheless, my opinion is that im not gonna lay down 45 extra bucks for the best plastic chess board, because you can triple or quadruple or hell decuple the weight whatever you want, they still are just plastic pieces. At least don't call yourself the best chess set ever, it would make considering this set a little easier.

These are such great news. I hope summoner wars 2 and A.S.H.E.S reborn a very long and successful future. It's a shame Crystal Clans (co-designed by Colby) didn't receive as much love as its bigger brother, the game in my opinion gets better and better with more plays and reveals itself as a masterpiece, you can tell Martin put his heart and soul into the game's art. It's very unfair that some reviewers out there drew conclusions after limited plays. If there's no plan to revive Crystal Clans, I hope its spirit carries over in SW2 and lives on with Colby's masterful design and Martin's breathtaking art!

I ask this as a regular consumer and not a retailer... Does the December release of Talisman Adventures mean that the books will be available in stores in December or does it mean that the printer in Germany (I assume) will be releasing the books? I am wondering whether or not to ask for this as a Christmas gift from my wife and kids or if I should just pre-order it myself in anticipation of it arriving after Christmas. Thanks.

Love it can not wait, I see many things coming like Castles, keeps, Gatehouse, and all able to connect to warlock tiles and other sets. Mind you it is more of a hope but looking forward to it all. Wiz Kids are on the right track as long as they do not allow greed to effect the price point.
