these are all garbage. buy used sets if you are just getting started out. dont buy these garbage cheap brands. $500 can get you a shitty new starter set, or a really good used set that is like 3-4 years old.

They’re not as bad as you’re saying. There definitely not high end, but the strata set in particular is made made by callaway, and the irons in that bag are very solid and forgiving, based on experience.

People always ask, "When should I take my game cart into the field with me?" After watching a couple of episodes of MOUNTAIN MEN, I realized Tom Oar and the other solo hunters all initially pulled their game carts with them into the field. Oh sure, one cart was a sled, one was a inflatable raft, and one was a regular frame game cart, but no matter what form they took, they all had a way to transport big game from the field. I talked to the Idaho F&G Biologist in charge and the state BLM office, who share management of all state lands and wilderness areas, and they agreed the use use of a non-motorized (pull along) game cart for game extraction from the field is permitted. I use a Hawk Crawler and a Smitty Sled for my solo game extraction.

If y'all are planning to use a non-motorized (mechanical) game cart for game extraction in the field, be sure to first check with the state F&G, BLM office or Forestry office In the state your planning to hunt to see if it is allowed. Each state has its own rules for game cart use on public wilderness lands.
