This video is very scary. if they don't already know about such a coup being planned the British Army and Government should be made aware of this discussion. It makes one think about all the illegal immigrants that are entering Britain on the South coast at the moment. Are these so called refugees and asylum seekers a covert Muslim army that will conduct the coup?

If Reform was "democratised" as you request, I can guarantee that it would be infiltrated by the usual Uniparty suspects in the blink of an eye. They did it during the election, sending their members to Reform to run as candidates. Do you honestly think they wouldn't do the same if they could join the party and have voting rights? I generally agree with democracy, but it's clear it isn't working in this country right now. We have too many bad actors acting in unison. Forcing Reform to become "democratic" would be a death sentence. Although perhaps that is what you want. You wouldn't be the first to join the party to try an undermine it.

Petty democracy is for the woke! Strong powerful decisive leadership is what is needed, especially at a time of unrest and uncertainty. An intelligent savvy leader who surrounds himself with the right people - and I don't mean sycophants but equally adept and useful agents - and knows when (and when not) to seek their counsel is the right way ahead.
@vote.antoniou3 күн бұрын
Whilst I understand your thinking behind this, I completely agree, it is the lack of democracy that has lead to where we are today. If the people had a genuine voice over the last few decades, I doubt that we would be in this mess. No one person, or small group can ever be trusted with power, under any circumstances, it is only the people who can keep them on an even keel, and it is the erosion of democracy that leads to the autocratic control that we indirectly have today. Therefore, there is absolutely no way that I would support any party that intends to bypass the people, however I respect your point of view. Kind Regards Antony

The idea of giving people more say sounds wonderful but I see it as a potential way that rogue actors will try and infiltrate the party, much like the Channel 4 stitch up. No party is actually very democratic in any case. Conservative party members didn't get a say in electing May or Sunak. When they did get a say by electing Boris and Truss the elite quickly get rid of them. The UK needs a completely different system. Every vote needs to count. Currently the average voter has no power whereas the house of lords, supreme court and civil service have immense power and we can't vote any of them out. Voting has essentially become an illusion of democracy.

A grassroots organisation with a proper party constitution is necessary, along with a strategic plan to win seats in Parliament. A good friend was an independent local councillor , packed in after one term as his vote/opinion was always drowned out by the larger parties . Anyway ,good luck as an independent ( maybe "do the right thing" resign the post and stand again as an independent , let your public decide who they want , independent or Reform )
@vote.antoniou6 күн бұрын
I would have fought from the inside if we were elected candidates, but the reality is that once the election was over, we are technically just supporters, which is why I feel so strongly that the first step should have been to at least announce the intention to move to a democratic party, with a constitution and voting members, not just supporters, as soon as possible, something that Ben Habib is also now talking about. This is critical, and it must be the first and top priority, and the very first announcement should have been: "We will democratise the party by, next month, Christmas, Easter, whatever and every paid up supporter will be a voting member" That would have been priceless! I am only a Parish councillor, so I am totally independent, I do agree, there is not a great deal I can do politically, but there is lots that I can do for the community anyway. I have an initiative in place for the spiraling crime in Kingsthorpe, and I have a few other causes that I intend to champion, so I have lots to do. That is a fair point, but I have stated issues that are now being discussed, if you were watching, Ben Habib called for the Democratisation of the party tonight on GB News. This is the first time this has happened, I wonder why? If I have prompted change in the party for the better, I will be happy. I have not said anything that is not being discussed by members or in public, and I am of the opinion that it will be for the best. It is not about me, I have a lots to do locally and I have a business to run, and by the next election I may well be too old and too tired to stand again, but Reform is going to keep growing, it needs to address these points now and I am proud to have pointed them out, if that does not go down well, so be it........If I were to keep quiet, all my effort would have been for nothing.
