You put the diffraction grating way too close to the entrance slit. In its current location it offers little if any benefit over just holding the grating up to objects without the tube at all. Remove it and place it at the eyepiece, then adjust the slit at the other end to a narrow aperture to obtain hundreds of times more spectral resolution than seen here. Make sure that the grating lines are parallel to the slit when mounting it at the eyepiece.

The listings for the GoPro Hero 2 lenses say they won’t fit the 3+? Ragecam says I need to order the one they make. Are they only saying that because the IR filter hasn’t been removed??

when using microscope like you do on video is for reparing tiny pcs but if you want make video about components under microscope, you need the knowledge about components to autopsy them exposed them from the cover and explain, not just zoom in and viewed it bigger
@ElektrischInkorrekt
@ElektrischInkorrekt Ай бұрын
Also it would be cool to Zoom in a little bit more. That wasn't even x100-Zoom. Maybe start with EPROMs as there the die itself is visible through a small window or try to decap metal cap transistors. x1000 or x5000 would eg be cool. And then also as a big picture so you can see the device as a whole but also the tiny Details.

@kamalfarai15
@kamalfarai15 Ай бұрын
@@ElektrischInkorrekt to know the concept you should be do some research about how the components look like on the silicon wafer, and to know more you should research how can calculate inductance and resistance and capacitance by his size form, that is the high level, for example to make capacitor on silicon wafer is just two traces close together by particular space that determin his capacitance value, is not something hard, robert are make a video with someone talk with it about how people can make their own chips components, is a video that its reach fully with informations about this topic
@ElektrischInkorrekt
@ElektrischInkorrekt Ай бұрын
@@kamalfarai15 yes, I already stumbled across that altium guy, he's eg pretty good at HF-Designs. I was talking about the 'real Reverse Engineering - decapping, etching, distinguishing the n-dotted from the p-dotted silicon, and then deciding, which parts are eg. a fet, a Pnp-Transistor, etc. Siliconzoo has a great Manual in how to do that.
