This was in the waters in/around Nanaimo, which is where I do the majority of my kayak fishing. Had some good luck and lots of activity that day!

No doubt, my first time trying to catch herring with hand-tied Sabiki rigs. There's definitely more efficient ways to catch them, but it made for a fun evening!

Total trip was 3 days, 2 nights. The kayak to the trailhead was 5hrs, kayak back to Scout Beach was 6hrs with mild winds. The hike itself would be a very long day but splitting it up and camping makes it much easier!
