I was born and raised in Wirt County, WV. I have been to Spruce Knob. It is so beautiful there. Oh those hills how I love my West Virginia Hills. I have lived in New Hampshire for 40 years but miss my WV home. Thank you, Are you going to be a thru hiker in 2024? I would like to follow you.

Nice video. I'm from CO but made a trip east to explore. While in NH, I was able to book a bunk at the Lonesome Lake Hut early July. Surprisingly, there were only 7 of us staying there that night and I had a whole bunk house to myself. The rocks, roots and humidity were ...just lovely. LOL But the lake was refreshing the the crew and food at the hut were amazing. Nice memories.

What a beautiful way to celebrate you! The painted rocks remind me of the hippies that would paint the rocks with flowers when we went camping as a kid. I was shocked that they were marring nature. The quiet sounds of nature sound so nice and the crunch of your shoes. Nice music too.
