How on earth is this company still in business. For the second time, this is a darn useless company, that no one should ever patronize. I booked a bus to Chicago for a workshop today, 5th may. Departure was 3.35am, and was brought backwards to 3.11am. There was no notification via email or text message. I got to the bus stop before 3.35am, and it was empty. I tried calling and have been calling customer care ever since, with no response. My workshop, I can't attend. My Amtrak return ticket, wasted. All because of some stupid bus company. For the second time running. I really do hope you go bankrupt and continue your trend of shutting down busstops.

First time on a Greyhound bus and first time visiting Mexico. I had a ton of anxiety about this, but this helped ease my fears while informing me how to better prepare for the expense. Mucho gracias! Te aprecio!

How did it go at the border? Did you have to exit the bus and then hop back on after walking though customs?
@azurecomet862 күн бұрын
@@rogercordon9044 More or less. Since I didn't have Forma Migratoria (which I recently learned you can complete online, print out, and also pay the fee, print and keep the receipt as proof of payment - second visit in a few days so hopefully that works) I was the first off the bus, had to go to a small office where I was asked where I was staying/for how long/purpose of my visit, they filled out the paperwork and gave me 90 days even though I expected 1-2 weeks, I took it to the front window where I paid the fee ($771 MXN/$40~45ish USD) and it got stamped (and I was supposed to keep it on me at all times while in Mexico pretty much), and then I went back outside, grabbed my luggage, and we all went through the checkpoint/scanner area, out the other side, and back on a different (I think) bus.

trip from Pittsburgh to Allentown pa was less than desirable. Sunday and the 20 mins late. the driver was less than friendly. intercom on bus was broke so he had to yell. the bus was filthy as well as bus station in Pittsburgh had not a single customer service staff NOT ONE. THE BATHROOMS WERE FILTHY AND STUNK OF FECES. Most stall doors locked. no toilet paper. Bus toilet was filthy with no toilet paper or water or hand sanitizer s. the seat i was in had a broken vent so AC blew on me entire time. i froze. none of the outlets worked to charge cell phones and all over the bus was filthy. Bus driver stopped to get snacks for HIMSELF and no one was offered a chance to get any for themselves. just the driver. he just got off the bus went i the store and spoke to no one. now i have to return home on this bus Friday and I AM NOT. looking forward to it at all. IS THIS normal practice of your company?? Take our money and offer nothing but a filthy uncomfortable ride where passengers do not matter?? your website paints quite a lovely picture but that IS NOT what we receive for our hard d earned money! you should be ashamed!!

If I could give a negative five stars I would. Not only was the bus in disgusting condition. Dust piled so thick, missing light covers with disgusting molded looking particles, a loose panel that made a loud cracking sound every single we hit even the smallest bump, and a dirty sock crammed into a light socket. When brought to the attention of the company they just kept saying they could not give my money back. So I asked to refund my ticket that has not been used to make other travel arrangements and they would not do that either. Greyhound is no longer leading the pack in the bus travel industry. Their facilities are sub par. Bus are not even that and the customer service totally sucks. Travel Amtrack! The train is nice and roomy. The train is clean and it’s a comfortable ride. I wouldn’t send my dog on a greyhound. Wish I could attach the photos. Hit me up if you need to see them’

It’s kinda funny how this is the last video that Greyhound posted and it’s 3 years old. Seems like someone at Greyhound got tired of hearing how absolutely horrible of an experience it is to travel on a Greyhound bus. Imagine the wasted life that is that of a Greyhound Bus Lines executive. Their entire life’s work is providing the absolute worst travel experience possible whose customers’ only memories are utter horror scenarios filled with prison-level customer service, methed-out riders and smells that would make a billy goat vomit.

Today, 2-22-24: Dear #Flixbus and #GreyhoundBus. Moments ago, the bus from Union Station (Los Angeles) was canceled without warning. This is AFTER a 2 hour layover already. Why did the bus get canceled and rescheduled for almost 8 hours later? How do you justify leaving travelers stranded for up to 10 hours (total) without proper communication, safeguards, or backup plans? A #greyhoundbus almost 8 hours later is not a viable backup plan for travelers falling victim to the lack of quality service and timely notice. Will you reimburse the tix amount since the original canceled trip occurred on your end? Greyhound bus terminal Los Angeles, what is the working plan to reduce the instances of sub-par, shoddy, sorry customer care for travelers of your service? "Sorry about this" without an explanation is NOT acceptable.

If that commercial were filmed today, the families would be picked up at some abandoned gas station on the edge of town, as greyhound stations are a thing of the past. It's a damn shame that Greyhound has become what it is today.

40 years later and Greyhound has closed most of their major terminals, eliminated service to many cities, and the cost is not any less than flying or Amtrak, if you have that luxury. Greyhound has truly become a national disgrace today.

I've complained privately but I haven't ridden THE BUS (as we used to call Greyhound) in many, many years, so I don't feel justified fully criticizing them. But, you're right. Back in the 60s and 70s and early 80s Greyhound was a class act. The world has changed. Only the neediest of people take the bus. Sad to see Greyhound fade into the netherlands.

🚌❄️ Yesterday, I faced an incredibly frustrating experience with Greyhound, and I need your help to get their attention. I was scheduled to travel from Chicago to Michigan at 10:50 PM. Not only did the bus not show up, leaving about 20 passengers stranded in the cold for over 2 hours, but Greyhound’s response (or lack thereof) was utterly disappointing. I made my first call to Greyhound 10 minutes after the scheduled departure. The response I got implied that I missed the bus because I wasn’t early enough - despite being there 20 minutes early. The agent offered a rescheduled bus at either 3 AM or the next night, but abruptly hung up before I could decide. Over the course of the night, I called them around 10 times, trying to reschedule for a 3 PM bus (a timing option initially not offered) and to discuss compensation for my hotel stay and additional travel costs. Each call led nowhere, with representatives claiming they couldn’t help and advising me to send a claim, which I’ve done four times already without any response. Now, I’m out $200 and 20 hours of my time. I’m sharing this story because I believe in the power of community. If you’ve ever faced similar issues or believe in accountability for companies like Greyhound, please share my story. Let’s make sure Greyhound hears us and responds to their customers appropriately. Greyhound, I’m still waiting for a proper response and resolution. Thank you all for your support.

We're told Dave Leach is gone! Maybe the new CEO is a bus enthusiast and will clean up the exterior of these beautiful coaches and then work on modification of the MAINTENANCE of these coaches, and get DRIVERS who care.

The drivers dress code should be enforced but first the dress code of the CEO, wearing a tie and looking like an executive most began at the TOP! A blind man can see the problem. Canada should take over Greyhound in the USA
