Why did i move here? I guess it was the weather...

I first moved to Vegas in 1976 and made my first trip to Disneyland in 77. Left in 84 to Southern California to Van Nuys, still would go back to Vegas about 4 times a year. In 1990 moved to Simi Valley and would drive from there taking what we called the Back way, from the 118 to the 5 to the 14 to 138 to the 18 to the 15. Then I moved back to Vegas in 99 to 08, and during that time I was driving back to my home in Simi Valley about every 4 weeks! I actually live the Drive back and forth. Did some of my best Thinking and Singing 😁. Then I moved to Pleasant Hill CA in 08 and until Dec of 2020 I hadn’t been back to Vegas! On January 1st moved again back to my roots in Arizona, and made my first trip back to Vegas! Oh my Gosh has it changed and has Grown like crazy. I barely recognize it. Now the drive is a lot shorter but a familiar one, because the times I did live in Vegas I would make many trips back to where I grew up in Phoenix! That’s another drive that has seen some changes, remember up until they built the Pat Tillman bridge you use to drive through Hoover Dam, now it’s block off at Kingman wash. Thanks for the Video. Brought back a lot of memories for me! 😇

that first shot- i live in texas. have all my life. there's a reason its called the great plains: its flat. i cant imagine being able to see mountains instead of disatnat towns and radiotowers. sounds scary tbh.
