my friend, traditional islam , the islam of your parents and grand parents is not the islam of abou bakr and omar and mohamed. My grand parents know nothing of how many people were burned in the houroub el rida , and how many women were raped. They only have that idea that there's god , there's the prophet , and if you pray , and do ramadan and hajj , they go to heaven to their families. I mean , who would blame muslims like that , they live their lives like anyone on the world having hope that they will spend eternity in peace. this islam is false , and based on ignorance sadly . they did not study islam. But some of us , did ... and we left that religion because of what we have read. Some christians for example call this religion , the cult of the devil , and they are sadly right . I live in a muslim country and satanism is the first thing that comes in mind when I see some things that many muslims do. People like our grandparents were honest , they were living peacefully because they did not sully their minds with the core content of this religion . But those who do have their minds distorted , and corrupt. morality disappears and is replaced by a warped version of it , like , an inverted version of morality. That's why I find that satanism is really what comes in mind. We had terrorism at one point , in the 90's ... a soldier told me they used to find alcohol and drugs with the qurans , amongst dead bodies in those jihadis caves. it's the same thing we see with isis. Because doing jihad gives you a guaranteed place in paradise in islam + the ability to save a number of people from hell by interceding for them. this , the fact people get arrested for eating in ramadan ...
