I’ve been there 3 times. Worked at Unisea. The landings were always teeth clinching. Had to pull over for storms once in Cold Bay. The eagles around the cannery are a total nuisance. It’s near impossible to walk to work sometimes. I never knew so many eagles existed. It literally looks like hundreds of thousands of them.

Thanks for sharing. Interesting parts to your rig. I added a shoulder mount with counter balance to mine to make the weight barable but a little heavier. Smooth footage without being static.

Nothing like drinking beer up on the old army gun positions on top of the mountains overlooking UNALASKA with the Prowler crews. Too bad elbow room isnt there anymore.

If I buy the Rokinon Cine lens for micro 4/3 camera (GH5) would I still need the 0.71x Metabones Speed Booster?
@Lunar_Films3 жыл бұрын
how easy is it pulling focus on it with those 2 handles?
@TaylorKelliher3 жыл бұрын
To be honest, it's actually super easy, you can set the guards on each knob so you're not guessing and then your just controlling speed manually.

Wrong! John was not the First American to finish the solo RAAM, there have been Many. I knew Jonathon Boyer pro cyclist back in 1985 when He got pissed and destroyed Seacrest in a epic battle of solo RAAM.

At 1:19:30 you say John become the first American male solo rider to finish the race in 2014. That's not even close to true. Plenty of American males have soloed finished RAAM since the 80s...some even won it, multiple times. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_Across_America

I'm waaaaay late the game, and I sincerely apologize to T for the delay. T did an absolutely incredible job on this documentary as you already know. If anyone has questions about our race, please post and I promise to monitor and respond. I personally used all the past RAAM docs as motivations and training aids for our race so if I can help or answer questions please ask :) And yes, I ate a McDonalds cheeseburger and vanilla milkshake in Brawley CA...and yes I puked it right back up. It sounded so good at the time
