Also what's the furthest ammount of yards you've seen a hydrant plate be placed away from the hydrant it's self. Jdogs and myself have seen one 30 yards away and have been curious if this is the record. Seen In Edinburgh.

Doesn't look that high on KZfaq. Different when you start climbing. I witnessed some"Alpha" types tap out or freeze. You have to take a leg lock, let go with both hands, lean back, turn and read outloud whatever they're holding up at the bottom

It's for safety on the fire ground, as a firefighter myself I understand why this can be confusing, it's so we don't trip over a hose or other piece of equipment that we can't see, so in summary, it's for safety

I've literally just finished doing this with my crew and if you're show size is 10 and above, it's very difficult because of how narrow the rungs are and because of where the ladder cables are placed.

2"...maybe a 2 1/2" line is all?? Strange to see this type of set up. This video is not showing the difficulty access it in normal calls. You -Tube does show a fire where they had to remove the cover, then dig and dig and dig - until he was able too thread on the pipe onto what i guess is a hook up place there on the main itself!!
