The best ending is quite touching there. After telling the story it seems after a certain researcher went nuts, and these beings weren't happy about that result, they realize that fighting was pointless and want to co-exist instead.

Just now discovered this game and it's one of the most unfair difficult shmups I've seen in quite a while. So many "Surprise, you're dead" moments that firmly cement this into memorization hell territory, combined with sections that don't even feel like they were playtested. I'm not sure how some parts of the game like the stage 6 boss and final boss are possible without bombing. Reminds me a bit of Same! Same! Same! 1P version. The second loop is just a cruel joke and makes me wonder if anyone's ever done a 2-ALL of this game.
