I think they are always on the same places basically, but there are less enemies on easier difficulties.

@@Rtheghost two games. a fps , commando strike force and a tactical game ghost master. Love both of games but they are kinda forgotten right now. ( plus you needed to download the last mission for ghost master online ) .

I remember playing this map because it was the only one on the demo back in 1999 with my very 1st computer. I played that single map since prob 8am to 9pm 😂. I was 12 back then and had no idea what I was doing but I eventually defeated them.

@@Rtheghost just happened to me yesterday, although i was playing modded map so dont know if the tank can die in vanilla, was using the pz2, and all i was fighting was just patrolman, i guess you can boot up a save and try it your self letting the machinegunner shoot your tank until it dies

Man i am so sad that it went from this, to AoW 2, then shadow magic, extremely fun games, then 3 and 4 came, they do not feel the same! There have become to much clutter around win cons, units and such.

I have yet to play those but from what I've seen they do look so much different then the first ones... aow4 for example looks a lot like Civilization VI. They kind of lost themselves there.

This mission really takes a long time to beat if you focus on halflings, but you did it another way I see. Also you got an amazing hero! Can win so many fights without even be attacked! I can't wait for life initiation!

I'm in the process of beating it. Will definitely be less time than my previous run but still one of the longest missions for sure. I usually prolong the initiation phases anyway, just to get most bonus.

Thanks for sharing. Static shield is an excellent enchantment that can be used against melee units. It stunts the hitting opponent for three rounds.

There's so many people that knock the OC and they say the shadows and hordes are better and as far as storyline goes in role playing I must agree however there is one thing that keeps bringing me back to the OC that's the fact that it's the only one that scales with you and so the fights can remain a challenge or at least more challenging at higher levels

I actually like this story better at least more than shadows, but I totally agree on the scale part. That's how every game should be, it gets harder the right amount as you gain experience. It doesn't get you super overpowered that destroys everything in 1 hit.

Creating pioneers reduces city size. A city can easily devolve to an outpost. Use different cities for creating pioneers. Thanks for uploading aow2.

You're welcome. Good observation, with the added problem of the smaller the city, the more time it takes to build the pioneer, also rushing it is even worse. Have to compensate a lot by using the building housing.

Thank you, I found a great spot to avoid his attacks altogether. Might make 2 extra runs eventually, one as easy and one as normal difficulty just to get the kick and armor bonus
