I Would like to know more about the construction, your mic is good so if you make a commentary on your video about what you are doing or something like that, it will be perfect> The construction is perfect i enjoyed the process and the details are really good, inspired me to make something similar to my RPGs tables.

I love this. Thanks for uploading the 3D files. However, can you change the size of the wall and wall ladder files please? Make them smaller. I can't get them 3D printed as the files are too big. I need them to be less than 64MB if possible. Let me know if you can please. Thanks.

This whole build looks great. I especially like the method you used on the doors, and the elegant way you wallpapered over the EPS foam, to hide the texture. And the wainscotting... and the portraits... and... Yeah, it's all nice

Glad to help. Yes, when there's just trim to protect the wall, that's a chair rail. When that goes all the way to the floor, that's wainscotting. It's a rarely used word, even for native English speakers

very cool setup. I don´t know if the height of some of the bridges etc is enough to be playable but the players might need to improvise! I especially like the edge highlights all over! Also... my jaw literally dropped to the floor seeing the cocoons... great idea!!! the only thing I would have changed in terms of immersion is the sides of the tiles.... all black would have made the negative space made a little bit better ... other than that, great work!!!

a couple of noes. those walls are TALL for table play. tall walls block the players line of sight to whats going on, so since thats an issue at my table i keep my walls about 1 to 1 and a half inches tall. that way minis poke over the top and are easy to keep track of. that brown before the highlights, hecking ew. with the highlights its fine, but man that is unpleasen toilet brown. rather than carving the features into the tiles one could cut the walls big enough to include the features and then make them separately. doing this would give you more variety in set up, and if you were double clever and made every tile have an appropriately shaped wall section (or just a few of them) you could switch the same feature to several different rooms. like if the pond was kidney shaped and two rooms had walls shaped like different sides of the ponds base you could place it in either one, or have that space clear. or you could make several of the same base shape and size so you can change it from clar to a pond to a pit to a rock pile to some mushrooms to any number of other interesting cave things. great idea though, i think ill have a go, i have some foam thats just sitting about.
@Mattswithtatts
@Mattswithtatts 6 ай бұрын
First thank you for comment :) yep for a lot of people those walls could be tall, I understand it. I think it depends on the way you play. For example we are sitting around low table and more important I use it to visualise the basic environment to players. When we were playing this dungeon guys around table always stand up and were curious what room is coming next and were checking closely whatever it includes! And I love when people around table are like “wow” !:D About the color. Well I didn’t want to make just simple grey tones so I chose this color, inspired by some WoW environment or maybe Grand Canyon kind of color. No one around table mentioned anything about color, but maybe the video is making the tone little different or your eyes finds it unpleasant, but that’s okay, everyone can make it in colors they like! Last thing I don’t really understand properly as I am not native speaking person, but if I am not wrong you are speaking about better modularity, but that’s definitely something I am going to improve in the future:) Overall thank you again for comment man, I appreciate it:)
