Hawaii wasn't toms bag. One of the best but not in high stress situations. I think that's why he broke down so many doors as a free surfer.

He gave me the stink eye once on a big day at creek when i temporarily drifted in the contest zone (gnarley current) after a good 1...his kid was in the contest. Have seen him out there a number of other times getting some good ones.

The Curren style is so displeasing... needs to widen stance and do mutiple pumps on his bottom turns... and front foot needs to go way up by the nose. So outdated.
