You weren’t fat and your face wasn’t either, you were more muscular and probably stronger too. I think you just got self conscious about the extra fat. #bodydysmorphia

I have a question. I seem to have peaked both in size and strength. (Not in a good way i suppose.) Is it cuz I haven't cut once in my 4-5 years of working out? I have done a few mini cuts that lasts like a week but never a proper cut. I feel like i'll loose all my gains and strength if i do a proper cut. Also, since i started from like 50kgs bw, sitting at 80kgs feels good. Don't wanna get skinny and weak again. So...the million dollar question, should i cut? 🥲

Took me a year to make my right pec the same size as my left. I internally rotate my right arm so I can stabilize it by hanging it on my traps for dexterous work like writing. This also means my right tricep is GINORMOUS in comparison to my left tricep because I use said tricep to move my entire arm for dexterity work. My left rear delt is also off balance because of this. I wonder if it's worth correcting since they're both not as noticeable as my pec imbalance?

No, this is true. I was on the train the other day and my girlfriends mother aged and saw the day. As soon as that last piece of sweat dripped off my chip (bringing me from 200 to 199.999), her hug could finally become what it was always meant to be: a body slam. I won’t be marrying her daughter any time soon…

What if you bulked too quickly and gained hella belly fat? Did gain overall size, but my belly is bigger than ever before
@shhhhh1111123 сағат бұрын
prolly bc of large amounts of food, on a cut your stomach won't be poking out that much
@predadoora22 сағат бұрын
@@shhhhh11111 Yeah, but is my situation valid for cutting even though I don't think I've gained enough muscle?
@TheShourdedLord20 сағат бұрын
Yeah man it can happen, if you think you've become too fat it might be a good idea to either recomp, or cut back down to below 20% and bulk back up from there.
@JustLeein17 сағат бұрын
That's normal! Bloat & fat is apart of the bulk game. You get to have bigger biceps & T-shirt size in exchange lol

Making the bulk the new maintenance.. I felt that in my bones lol 😆 I’m guilty af. When my stomach started to grow, I knew I had to take accountability 🛑 unfortunately, after losing almost 50lbs in 2022, I gained 12 lbs since and I’m struggling so hard to get lean again.. I ALWAYS fall off track even though I know how to loose weight.. I know it doesn’t make sense 🙁
@JustLeein17 сағат бұрын
Man, that's still amazing progress! 50 lbs off the body is no joke. I do get what you mean though. Tbh man, I had something similar. Keep it going man, sometimes you have to do more extreme changes to get the ball rolling. For example, I barely budged at my prime bulk 225 by dropping off from 3800 -> 3k cals. My lowest cal intake before the bulk was 2600 & I felt terrible at that intake. I'm currently eating 2500, & I feel great. My thought is that calorie intakes change based on your lifestyle, things might be different now vs when you lost the 50 lbs. Keep going man, try new things out to make the process interesting again.

*Powerlifting focuses on both Strength and POWER!* Meaning not only you focus on maximum strength capacity but also how fast you are moving them. Unlike a squat, Olympic Lifts such as Power Clean, Snatch, etc. have a speed factor to them, representing more of a Power quality. The difference between training for power and athleticism is that athleticism also take into account tendons elasticity and multiple direction coordination. In sports such as basketball, you don't just run straight ahead all the time, you have to make plays, sprinting, cutting, spinning, and jump at different angles which takes a lot of stability and coordination. Training with Powerlifting techniques will help build a power production foundation the body need, aka the engine, and sport specific training (sprint and jump), will put your engine to good use.

My incline dumbbell press setup is so stupid. I deadlift the dumbbells onto my knees as I sit. I get in position so when I lay back the bench will at the centre of my back. I then start swinging the weight and leaning back and forth like a pendulum. I’m listening to music and when the beat is about to hit, I swing forward so hard that I stand up with the dumbbells and then I fall back and try and use my legs to push the dumbbell up into my chest (so it doesn’t land near the abs) If I did it well, the dumbbells bounce off my chest and help me push them up 50% success rate. The other 50% is massive energy leakage 😂😂😂

yo boss, im 16yo (2007) 70kg i been going gym 2-2.5 years, pretty much from start aimed for strenght, my jourbey went nice on 1.5 year after it been 1 year strugling, my lifts havent improved and i have gained weight bc of bulk, only thing i have skipped are leg days, but i do them 50% of the time, but especially in deadlift i dont feel like my legs are the ones that are strugling but my core, and in bench my pr was 87,5 / 90 kg half year ago before my shoulders got fucked up an my pr dropped to 70kg, now im at 80x3 or sum like that, and i dont feel like it going up at all, i have been using 5/3/1 powerlift program, what things i should do for getting out of my hole of progress, and get some progress again, like what lifts and excersises should i add 😢
