Every time I ride I do keep my feet in the stirrups but sometimes I lose my stir up and when I ride I always bounce up and down can I get tips on that? Than I feel like I fall off but I never do

Oh, dear God! I remember you, Dennis... and Patrick... And Mike and Tracy... I hope I'm not opening any wounds, because I remember our youth with fondness, respect and a sense of awe. I'm so happy that I found this KZfaq by accident! Is Aaron Vale still riding? Who else from the early eighties? God Bless you all and I'm glad I got to see this... Dennis, do you remember a groom who I think was Diana? She and I made up an awful cocktail made with Amaretto, Diet Dr. Pepper and cream one night in San Antonio. You tasted it and told us we should name it, "Mule Sperm!"
@cornfloats70043 жыл бұрын
WAIT,WAIT, WAIT!!! It wasn't Amaretto, it was Frangelico! She and I were being snobs. She worked for you and had the world's biggest crush on you and all I could tell her was that then she should be working for you (which she reportedly did), rather than wasting her time in Kenny Mackenzie's Mobile Tack shop with me. What can I say, those were really old days!!!

I am confusion.........why arent you holding onto the horn!? Like dont western people just get on the horse and “Yee haw” and hold on to the horn? Sorry if that was offensive but i ride English, so i have no idea lol
@loodytheleprican30794 жыл бұрын
Usually it's just for holding ropes

We don’t depend on the horse. We can ride just as well without the horn

I ride a semi green horse. She is still VERY wonderful but my trainer assigned her to me. I would say its okay if the rider and the horse both are ready with eachother. Am I wrong for riding a green horse and being semi new to riding?

@magicpainthorse5 жыл бұрын
Yes. Keep your heels down. Make sure your stirrups are the right length for you..... not too long. Keep practicing. Eventually your balance will improve and you'll be less dependent on the stirrups.
@annwltr5 жыл бұрын
Learn to ride with your seat. Have your instructor use a lunge line. The seat is everything. From there you can add stirrups and after that, reins

I was taught to hold my balance by riding bareback so I don't become dependent on the stirrups. I found it very helpful.

Horses aren’t unpredictable.🙄 No Animal is unpredictable. Each animals has its own signs you just need to learn to read them. If you ain’t going to take that time to learn their language then don‘t be around them. Other than that I liked the video.
