Why would You add the chain drive when You still using shaft output to drive the chain? You just add more drive train power losses.

It was impossible to run the shaft drive and the wide rear tire. Using the stock shaft drive unit mounted to the rigid chassis driving a chain drive was the easiest way to get tire clearance. There may be some hp loss, but it works perfectly and is bullet proof. What method would you suggest using?
