I can totally understand the texture thing. Since I found out how to use my own textures in my favourite painting program, walls are no longer safe from me, and I look at almost every wall for an interesting texture.

Aww, so nostalgic! ❤ I think I learned acrylic painting as a tiny kid by watching my aunt paint big murals in people's homes. She patiently answered a million "why do you do that?" questions. Thanks for making painting so accessible for people who haven't ever even picked up a brush! It's such a healthy hobby!

I certainly try! Everyone has to start somewhere.

I’m off to southern Spain this Saturday to visit family I’m half Spanish and I’m taking my art supplies. I’m new to watercolours and this video has just given me the inspiration I need. I was born in Gibraltar and I’m obsessed with the rock. I can clearly see it from our Airbnb coupled with the stretch of sea on our doorstep, sunsets, sunrises and Spanish life I’m truly so excited to explore my watercolours and fill up my little watercolour journal. It was my 60th last Sunday so very much to celebrate and be grateful for 🎨🎊🪭🇪🇸🇬🇮💃🌅❤️💛❤️

I’ve learned from you to wet the paper, wet the paint, and wet the brush. And then decide what to paint. Water is our friend. 😊 💧🎨🖌️👩🎨🖼️🌈
@RebelUnicornCraftsКүн бұрын
Absolutely. Sometimes our enemy while we are still learning, but most often our friend 😊
I did notice that the one said MICRON and the other one said MIPOR. Hmm 🤔 Very sketchy… lol Thank you for the tip. I will definitely pay close attention to this.

Have you ever tried mixing tubes of watercolor paint with Dr Martins ink? I used to combine pallet watercolors & Caran D’Ache aquas with Dr. Martins a long time ago.

If they were actually waterproof, as advertised, I wouldn't have been as disappointed 😣. We all learn something sometimes.

Sakura art supplies are the BEST. Their pigma ink is no joke. They’re a bit more expensive in stores so I would recommend a/mazon, if you can

Best price I've found on individual microns is definitely Jet pens. I always check out the prices on Blick, Jet Pens and Amazon, depending on if I need to buy anything else. I've found Jet Pens is quite a bit cheaper on a lot of things, but not everything.

You're not the only one to get caught with these pens, me too! I didn't buy the same pack (I got a 3 pack with 0.5, 0.3, 0.1) but it would be nice if they were what they say they are 😵💫
