Been to Oscar's a few times now and my steak was not cooked correctly either. I ordered medium and it came out quite rare. I am not terribly fussy so I ate it and it was flavorful and tender but it would have been a grand slam if they got it right. I did have the hizzoner cocktail and it was quite enjoyable ... One under-cooked steak won't stop me from going to Oscar's again and again ...

Thanks for the video. I have the same room type in 2 weeks. I asked cor a crner suiteawayfrom the experience to reduce noise. How noisy was your room, what cloor were you on and how xid you get hooked up with the vip desk. Thanks

I do not remember what floor I was on, but I did not hear significant noise. Further up obviously helps with that. For the VIP desk, log in to your reservation before arrival and there is usually an option to pay for the VIP desk if your casino play doesn't already qualify you.

Their happy hour specials are actually some of the better deals on the Strip. This certainly costs more than my favorite spots at home, but relative to the real estate it is a good deal.

I enjoy that buffet. But I enjoy just about all buffets as I like to taste a bit of everything rather than tucking in to set meal all the time. I like to venture out a bit and try things that I never cook or are not commonly found in restaurants where I live. I love beef but I find their meat/beef station to be rather hit or miss which is disappointing. I have a favorite seafood restaurant that I visit while in LV so a buffet seafood isn't high on my list of wants. I like that the Bacchanal just offers things that I don't always see on other buffets or set menus - bone marrow, ube horchata, tiny desserts that my husband and I can each have a taste of and also be able to taste quite a few. But to be completely honest - the Bacchanal is often a comped meal so we have had no reason to compare it to other buffets. The one meal that I know that we are going to pay for anytime and every time is not on the strip and is not associated with any casino entertainment chain. I enjoy it way better than any other place that I've dined at in Vegas.

That's all fair. My favorite part of the meat carving station is the pork belly, which is obviously pretty easy to keep moist.

Done this twice at Delano. First time it was an MGM branded limo but the second time (2023) was a contractor. The second limo wasn't clean and was pretty ratty (could see rust lines from the places the stretch panels were welded in). Both times I was met at the door and the second time was during the big hack and they did go out of their way to make things right (big reason I never complained about the limo issues). Also the first time it wasn't a nightly fee just single $150 charge, that was a hell of a deal!

They let us check in well before noon. No dice if it is a busy time and people are still checking out, but if they have the room free they are generally delighted to give it to you.

It would be nice if you give quick look on prices. I know that Fat burger is twice overpriced. BTW I'm not sure that schlotzsky's is still there in 2024. It was a great eatery.

I am going to try that steak. I stay at the Venetian so I have been here a few times. I believe I had the pork, it was very good but don't remember the details. I also was there by myself and it was very nice, though again I don't recall the details. I will be back.

Airline lounge over credit card lounges any day, go to a major hub and everyone has a credit card that has Centurion or Priority Pass access and there going to be max capacity during regular day hours, which to me defeats the purpose of having that extra luxury

Another option is The D, and we have video of one of their rooms. It was super loud, although you can all for a room further from Fremont Street. However, it was also much less expensive and still had Stadium Swim access.

I have been to that lounge a few times before (most recent early April 2024). Like most domestic Priority Pass lounges, there is nothing really special but they do the job when you need somewhere to sit that is quite where you can get light food, alcohol, coffee, juice etc. Some of the International Priority Pass lounge locations are much a much better experience than the domestic airports, but I'm personally waiting for the upcoming Chase Sapphire lounge to open at Harry Reid airport!

Looking for the best romantic sexy feel music chill lounge bar. Staying ayt MGM closest i came was whisky down. The venetian has one with brass bird cages we went last year. Looking for a place like that kinda of crazy cool chill 2 am feel.

I'm glad I watched this review....I was planning on going here to eat, heard good things about the food and was planning on sitting at the bar one night. But had no idea it was a cigar bar....that would totally ruin it for me if someone started blowing cigar smoke around while eating. Thanks for the review.

That's fair. The restaurant half is actually separate from the cigar bar half, and that may help. However, it is all on the casino floor and that limits your options.

It really was. The whole place is beautiful. However, they usually charge the same prices as places which are more centrally located. Then again, this was a lot quieter than something center Strip.

Will put this one on my list. My go to steakhouses are Peter Lugars in Caesars and Gallagers in NYNY after a hockey game or concert

John (a frequent channel contributor with whom I shared this meal) and I talked about Gallagher's as a point of reference, and we decided we liked this better. Peter Lugar's is a different sort of thing. Most meals most of the time I would prefer the atmosphere at Emmitt's unless I am particularly trying to impress someone.

Oscar's. Easy call. Ask for a view down Fremont Street. Vic and Anthony's is lovely, but Oscar's has a special ambiance.

I thought that I knew what a great steak tasted like. I've eaten in enough steak houses that charge premium rates. Boy, was I wrong! The steaks at Carver Steak were, by far, the greatest that we've ever eaten. They were perfectly seasoned and had an indescribable char. Service was great. 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, 1 app, 2 steaks, 1 side, 1 desert, and 2 coffees. $370.-$420 with tip. We were happy to pay it.

When you get to the top, you are quickly greeted by a host who asks if you want to go to the restaurant or the bar. My guess is that they might let you in if it was a slow time, but I loved the bar anyway. I vote to by a single cocktail, savor it, and take in the views.

All fair points. If you want a quieter cigar bar, we have videos with a couple of options. Casa Fuente is in Caesar's, but it is tucked off in a corner with a nice atmosphere. For much quieter, walk north to the Fashion Show Mall. The Davidoff Cigar lounge out front is delightful.
