Dude that top out tho...Jeez. I feel like if you slip too theres a good chance you'll knee the edge of the boulder hard.

Sadness is being able to do this without any training when I was a teenager and now even a pull-up is challenging.

Flow state on the send, congrats! Grades are so subjective you have to take whatever you felt it was, great send nonetheless.

You are basically a v14 climber for getting to that athletic state and then getting to where you are today. You're truly elite and show that by having ambition anything is possible.

Haven't seen your videos for a while and came back after a year. I really enjoy your mix of editing, music (classic/relax), action and commentation. I also find that your progress in that boulder states out your older video contents about footplacement and bodypositioning which is very important when it comes to ecounter slopers. Focus switch from hand to feet;) All the best, Dave

Dude that top out looked so sketch... I was honestly kind of expecting a foot to pop off like Louis Parkinson climbing Steppenwolf. Maybe slightly less dramatic though haha. Nice send man!
@BiggFanDDDАй бұрын
I spent 6 months projecting a slopey v6. The tips you give in this are so good! In the end, a small change in sequence got me the send. But damn, that was an amazing learning experience!
@rockentryАй бұрын
Congrats on your send! Must had felt amazing 🔥💪
@sophiachalksАй бұрын
I use to avoid slopers like the plague but after climbing with and learning from you Im started to appreciate them more and more, sometimes even preferring slopey climbs more than crimps 😭🙌 yes being “stronger” physically helps but it’s SO much more about technique, planning and body positioning 🥹
@rockentryАй бұрын
We specifically love the sloper climbs in Fontainebleau 🔥💪

Great timing! I’m just starting to hit more slopy style climbs since my fingers are a little sore from crimping all the time 😂

Ozzy, amazing. Just want to call out the fact this video (and several others of yours) encapsulates the grind of getting better at bouldering, especially once you get to these higher grades. So many videos focus on hacks or tips to climb hard and skip over the process of trial and error to eventually send something (or maybe not!). It takes ALOT of patience and you capture it perfectly!

Great storytelling & cinematography! I have questions about how you are filming yourself when alone. You definitely have something figured out that I do not.
@rockentryАй бұрын
Filming alone is hard but with time you get used to it and start noticing what shots to get. Also, Sophia does help me get some of the shots. With time you will find your style and way of shooting that works for you. Thank you!
