Fun fact: They banned Mr. Mime, and not Baton Pass, in gen 3 OU because that was the only niche Mr. Mime filled there. Like, if you wanted Mr. Mime to do anything besides Baton Pass shenanigans, there were always a better Pokémon for that job. In any tier.
