Aside from the use of this piece in Greenaway's Twisted film The Cook, the thief, the wife and the lover, this piece is also my all time favorite. Your sound is flawless! Thanks for an amazing Sunday morning listen! And you hit that high note !!!! Spooky!

Which notes are lip-slurred? And how do you reach 7th position?
@nozomiandrogerАй бұрын
I lip slurred all the changing notes in each position, but I only played until 6th position. My arms are too short!

Is that a Shires? Custom or Q? It -looks- like my Q36GR.
@nozomiandrogerАй бұрын
Sorry, it’s not a Shires. It’s a Greenhoe GC5.

I tried to record a smaller ensemble piece like that playing all the voices by myself. I can just say that it is extremely time consuming and not as straight forward as I expected it to be. Well done Sir!
@nozomiandroger2 ай бұрын
Thanks. I agree, it’s pretty time consuming. If you think this one was difficult, watch the one I did of the end of Mahler 2. It’s still a lot of fun, though.
