My very wild guess, predicting $3,000 gold before the end of the year, watch this space, probably more wishful thinking on my part, the downside being the geopolitical and financial chaos that would probably need to ensue for Gold to reach such a heady top, it'll be grim out there if such is the case 😒

HIHI Chuck, yes it does! However, my next time series higher is a Monthly...and in this case, the move was over the turn from February into March and for the moment, we haven't done enough to be a Monthly Key Reversal. You'd have to overcome not only the 50% Fib of the January 2021 - September 2022 move at 1.0944, which by the way...capped the rise in February...but you'd also have to make a new high for 2023 as well as a new high that had not been seen since March 2022. That is a big ask right now methinks!

Thank you for the blue lines of the wedge pattern. which helps it stand out. I notice you use SMA’s (18,54,99,190) In your opinion are they more accurate than EMA’s?

Thank you for your kind words, I have become used to these. I started using them in the late 1980's after receiving a lecture on W.D.Gann and on the importance of the number 9. Hence, I started using them...and have done ever since.

My pleasure...I may do this occasionally as when I switch between Bar and Candlesticks my Charting system throws out the scaling for when I switch back...which is a little tiresome to recalibrate....but I will do it occasionally.

Oh my gosh, I’m sorry it disrupted your charting system. I did take screenshots which I’ve referred back to and are much easier to see. Would switching to coloured bars maintain your charting system and perhaps provide a possible alternative solution for a screenshot? If so, the coloured bars would give our eyes a reprieve from the busyness of the black on white detail, to better decipher the price action. If so, this would be so appreciated 🙏

Great analysis and superbly detailed. May I make a request please, can you switch your FX chart to candlesticks for a couple of seconds so I can take a screenshot. I’m accustomed to candlestick chart patterns and I’m finding the bar chart combined with the very many lines and the grid, all being in black and white make it rather difficult to distinguish. Thanks 🙏

At this moment...no! It would need to break down through last week's low of 1.0095 and then close below 1.0210 to qualify. Right now...that seems unlikely, especially as the Lower Tine of the January - May 2021 Bearish Andrews Pitchfork runs through 1.0096 tomorrow. This Pitchfork has been broken...once back in February on the topside and then in early July on the downside...but each time...it seemed to repair itself.

I always thought Crypto, especially Bitcoin was considered to be the 21st Century 'Gold - safe haven asset', yet look at what's happened at that market! In this inflationary setting, I do believe Gold will ultimately return to its true market valuation, not so sure about Crypto, so many people have been scared by the volatility having suffered horrific losses riding that wave. :-(
