Hey there! Real great idea, nice Video, nice STL! Thank you for that. I build one of these. At the moment the second one. Now, there are some batteries unused from the original one. Do you have an STL for 4 oder 6 AH Parkside?

LG M50T and M50LT are extremely dangerous batteries. They tend to leak under high load. Leaked electrolyte corrodes the metal then you have a shortcut over time and FIRE! Just google...

How much will be the total of this battery and shipping to south Africa
@SolipsfilmАй бұрын
I'm sorry, I don't make the batteries for shipping. You can downloaded the files for free from Thingiverse and print them if you would be up for it 😊

I literally had a major resin spill yesterday and the touchscreen is buggered. Thank goodness I found your video and learned I could use a mouse in the interim while waiting for a new touchscreen! Thanks for sharing your experience and solutions!

these are not near as the original batteryes, on discharge rate they are only 14.5 x3 would give 45A , but this is max
@Solipsfilm2 ай бұрын
Burst discharge rate is 21A x 3 = 63A which is way more than the original 4ah can deliver. I've tested it out and in every way my battery delivers more power and for a way longer period of time. The cells never get hot either so I wouldn't worry about it 😊

If I were the manufacturer of this type of printer I would add a few plastic drains so that resin can be directed via a gutter around the glass and exit the bottom into a tray or base that has some kind of a low profile tub. This way you would only need to just flush the drain with IPA.

It’s a shame uk doesn’t seem to be doing the performance range anymore. Used parkside for 10+ years now , have many of their 20v and 12v team parts, and some are real winners like their green chunky impact driver, 12v mini grinder and 12v jigsaw. The performance range i only ever seen it once , probably about 5 years ago.
@18bagabooo3 ай бұрын
Interesting that original bms can be used. I came across your video as i was searching for a bms that i was thinking it needs changed when upgrading the parkside 12v team batteries. Their 4ah 12v battery has 6 cells of 2ah, and was thinking to just replace them for some 3ah ones, would make it a 6ah and overall better quality battery with good cells.

Welke plek koop je die batterijen. Ik heb pas een puntlasser op Ali besteld in powerbank formaat werkt goed was maar 31 euro.

the battery is very big and most probably too heavy for small power tools. I've see a similar project with cell modification for total power of 9000mAh but what is not clear for me is why is possible to use same BMS board with different cell and major power than the original battery of 2000mAh: do you have more technical info or a datasheet of BMS board 2A? I don't like super glue: is it very super for that heavy work? PS: for cut plastic of the upper side of the battery an hand tool should be enough than angle grinder 😂😉

It'd be good idea to perform load test with 20A current draw and check with thermal camera, if there aren't any hot spots, which would indicate bad spot welding.

Why make a big battery though and use very low current capable cells ?Those lgs are only rated for max 14.4a discharge.. Even the cells in the parkside 4ah battery are 30a rated cells...

found this video afteri accidently poured resin all over printer luckily it only went into the stepper motor i need to replace it but i have to say this video has to a how not to use a halot one lol i know people say dont use metal scraper on fep but why would they give you one if they didnt want you to use it also dont add silicon around screen it will be harder to remove if this happens again

Lesson here is sometimes the more you try to save money the more it costs you. If there was a better or cheaper alternative to fep the companies would have sold it. But thank you for your sacrifice in testing out things that some of us already thought of using.

I'm currently renovating a house and I can tell you, this is the best battery I have laying around! It outperforms all official batteries if it comes to power when using grinders or hammer tools it has so much power.

Doing a whole renovation at the moment, this battery is awesome! It outperforms all standard batteries and has way more power for big tools like grinders and saws. And yes, the drill also works great!
@curpassamuelalin67517 ай бұрын
Too heavy. Better two or three smaller batteries.

Not for everything, I love the battery, use it everyday for my big tools like grinders during my renovation. Way more power and for waaaay longer than any of parkside's batteries
