one of the best scenes of any movie I've ever seen and I stumbled upon it when it was realsed on tv with friends and all of us were pretty much confused, amazed, and laughing.

@@MattimeooIt aired on TV if you had cable. I first saw this on IFC back when it would play stuff like this. Around 2002. Probably unlikely to show up on TV now just because the same amount of people would be interested today as back then. (although, I kinda think this would hit better today. Commentary on weird stuff can be a lucrative KZfaq career) IFC probably didn't have to worry about satisfying the same advertisers they do today.

@@HannibalOrJustRex I could definitely see it airing on IFC, but deeeefinitely not basic cable alongside something like Friends haha. Here (the US) IFC is a premium channel where they can show mature rated stuff.

It’s interesting Werner takes the part of the typical macho American dad, who’s example of art is interest in violence and the dichotomy good and evil, but somehow it’s hard to see because it’s Werner calm and cool.
