Have a resident like this. On multiple occasions, we were sending out another Resident and she'd scream over the emts and myself to get our attention. Keeping in mind the resident on the stretcher is bleeding from her head and walks up to her, screams at me that she needs her PRN inhaler and I told her it'd be a second because I had to walk out the emts and started screaming at the other resident saying "I don't give a fuck what's wrong with you, I NEED MY FUCKING INHALER" emts look mortified that someone could act like that. She didn't actually need her inhaler. Brought it in less than 3 minutes later and told me she didn't need it anymore and the SOB (shortness of breath) has passed because we're useless. This lady moved out yesterday and I can feel my BP leveling out 😂😭

BOY can crap-tastic teachers screw up education! I sat out a year before going to college & hadn't had to have a math class for the final year of HS because I had already completed the requirements. I opted to take a remedial math class my 1st semester of university to get ready for College Algebra. My teacher was so awesome that I wanted her for CA, but she didn't teach it. Unfortunately for me(& that class), I got a middle-aged guy who was a Grad Student for an "instructor." I bs you not, this man would come to class daily, put the sample problem from that chapter on the chalkboard, turn to us & ask if there were any questions. You have to have at least a start point of some sort of understanding to even ASK a question & we didn't, so there were none. He couldn't explain it. He couldn't teach it. It's also college, so when you say that if you don't have questions, you can leave, we booked it out of there. Class was empty after about 5 minutes from starting. You could always tell when it was a Test Day, as those were the sole day that practically the whole class stayed the entire period bc we knew nothing & were trying to complete the exam as best we could. I got a B in that class SOLELY because remedial teacher had taught so well the previous semester. College Algebra was such a nightmare from that guy that I switched my major from Pre-Med. If you don't have a passion for it & CAN'T actually instruct so others can understand, you shouldn't be allowed to teach! The world is hard enough without inflicting misery on those who just want to learn OR actually need to learn for their progress.

Second story... sure there are some stupid teachers out there, but to be fair... depending on the subject and classyear, much of the tests and materials that get handed to the teachers and are expected to be taught and tested in certain ways, this is especially bad and stupid in math... I was in advanced mathclass for around 3 years and even started tutering some of my classmates, becasue they didnt understand how the teacher explained it to them. Ironically a certain teacher was also my advanced matchclass teacher, in wich we had slot more freedom to solve mathproblems, but for some reason the same, simpler solution "wasnt allowed for normal class" and even marked as false in test on multiple tests of my classmates. One of my classmates i taught used my solving solutions on a test and had nearly the exact same awnsers and solutions as i had, but i got a A+ (surprise) and he only got a C for some reason... i recounted and he should have had atleast a B+ to A-. I went to the teacher and he said to me, that he had no choice, since the ways we got taught in advanced class is taught about 0,5-1year later and only then its viable for these tests. I incited a classmeeting for this nonsense, where the dean was present... all the kids of the same year bounded togehter and we said, that we insist on disolving the advanced mathclass and let the teacher teach the advanced stuff in normal class... the additional hours they save from not teaching the advanced students should be spend on getting students who lack behind some additional studytime with the teachers and other students. This took around 1 month to implement and since then, the average grades for math at my old school have gone from C to B. F*ck schools and their idiotic bureaucracy...

All question the kids had were answered openly and honestly. We didn't have an exam on it though! My father invited me, my two sisters and our boyfriends to dinner at his club. Now this was in the 1990s and the jacket over a turtleneck was a common dressy look for men. Well, Dad's club had a dining room Dress Code for men of a jacket and shirt with a collar. So, all of our dates looked polished and good, they were denied entrance to the dining room. My father had to go buy them all golf shirts at the Pro Shop because they have collars. So our dates looked mush less polished in their jackets over golf shirts.

You woud think that complains about a teacher would be taken seriously... I had a teacher at college who was utterly useless as a teacher. He had no idea about stuff he was teaching us about, and we had him for THREE out of six subjects we had on exams. Literally no one in our class had a grade over 70 in his class, which doesn't seem as bad, but given that on all the others we had above 85 it says something. We constantly complained to deans and commanderd (it was a military affiliated college), but they always told us "he's just used to teach university, so learn to understand him". And if that wasn't bad enough, he was condescending about us not understanding the subject and often just ignored our questions to rumble about some dude he worked with or some book he wrote. We hated him with a passion. And the thing is, we weren't the first generation to complain about him. Every year there were complaints, but the administration did absolutely nothing about him. Sorry for a lot of words, hit too close to home :(

Story 1: My brother had a somewhat simmilar experience but with a way nicer/cooler teacher in high school. The teacher basically said "I will not allow cheating in any way. Though if you are somehow able to cheat and not get caught in the act, I will not deduct points if I am made aware of this after the fact. If you actially manage to cheat without being caught, that's an acomplishment too" A friend of my brother asked the teacher after an exam - I think it was the final exam - if he was for real and after getting the confirmation saif friend lifted his shirt with 2 whole sheets he cheated with. The teacher true to his word ignored this when grading the exam.

I had a whole family evicted because my alley neighbor's guests, and them, kept parking in front of my garage. The first time, I had to honk continously before someone came out. I told them not to park their but they kept trying to give excuses. I told them I don't care just don't park here. The second time my neighbors were leaning on my garage door. I told them to please move and saw a dent. The third time one of them parked their car again in front of my garage. The person tried giving me excuses and I kept telling them, I don't care. They then threaten to kill me and tried to put their arm through my gate... My Malinois didn't like that one bit. I have many "beware" signs around the gate. Had them on camera doing gun gestures at my house. The chicago cops didn't want to look at the footage and said my dogs couldn't be on my property. So I did what I had to do. When I saw their stuff out on the lawn... My dogs and I, stared from across the street with a big smile on my face. I was also able to keep them from making an income, until they fixed their car.

Story 1: I think the key sentence in this story was the one about how the bride had to always set her accomplishments aside so her sister felt special too. There you go. Parents making a child feel special for not accomplishing anything. Ok, so, she feels special, now what? My mom always said that you build self-esteem through your own accomplishments. Story 2: YTA. If you tell an officer this story and they approve you're action then it's acceptable but I'm 99% sure they will not. The reason why those spaces have such a hefty fine for misuse is because of how direly they're needed WHEN they're needed. It doesn't matter if your bag was leaking or if no one came for that spot "this time". That women wasn't a Karen, you are. If you truly thought that that fish was in such dire need that you needed to break the law then you could have put your own well being on the line instead of a disabled person's by parking next to the store instead of in a handicap space. You have no excuse for what you did, you were just entitled.

@@Sin_Shadow_Fox By avaliable I am saying that that is the only space that is physcial free not that their are other spaces that could fit a car but were illeagal to use. It is very probably that in front of the store is car parks that had cars in them and were not available to be used at all.
@Sin_Shadow_Fox
@Sin_Shadow_Fox 6 сағат бұрын
@@catprog Actually the space wasn't physically free as it is owned by the state for the purpose of being used by the disabled, hence why you can be charged for parking there if your not disabled so even with that description it still isn't available. Also I'm assuming that the store had non parking space in front of it as that is most likely the case. But if you want to argue the possibility that there are unavailable parking spots directly in front of the store then **deep inhale** OP could have parked on the side of the store or between lanes or on the street or on the grass or in a neighboring parking lot or behind the store in employee parking or... you get the idea. No excuse.

The last story - I'm not one to park in a disabled parking space without a placard, and I can't stand when someone does just that to go into a store to shop for even 5 minutes but it's usually for over an hour. That being said, if someone went to the veterinarian for an emergency, parked in a disabled spot to take the animal in, then come right back out to move the car, I'm fine with that. So, OP is NTA for going into the pet store to get a bag for the fish he bought for his 10 yr old because the one that it was in sprung a leak and wouldn't make it home. He wasn't in there shopping, he was getting the fish settled in a new bag of water that took all of a few minutes.
