Other the price witch is misleading i think that this is a mechanical, not an automatic movement because i’ve seen the movement and it cannot automatically wind himself but it needs to be hand winded. At least thats what it seems on the pictures.

2.5m-5m usd new from patek philipe, and you need to be a "special someone" to even be considered being put on the list to be allowed to purchase one in the future. The one sold at auction must be extra special, maybe the first one or something. I'd love to own one but not in this lifetime unless something miraculous happens.

presage makes too small a date window to be readable at a distance ,resulting in a cluster dial only ,rather than functional Another problem is crown location . there is a reason why so few manufacturer do offset crown because of disharmony & unusable on wrong side of wearer .And u will think that Seiko has years of experience in making watch knows how to design .Then again there is a mass market to support when price is right .

Seriously Rolex have become boring though. Theres nothing new or interesting. Don’t get me wrong I love the day date, and some of there other watches but they are over played and boring. The most interesting watches right now aren’t Rolex by a long shot. You buy a Rolex because of brand recognition and classic design let’s be honest nothing more nothing less. Vacheron, Patek, AP and many more have much more interesting pieces.

И для покупателя , и для тех людей , которые позже на протяжении 50 или 100 лет будут обслуживать эти часы , чтобы они нормально функционировали . Каждые часы имеют свою стоимость и важно понимать , насколько долговечную вещь вы покупаете за эти деньги . Грустно если любимые дорогие часы через 10 - 15 лет никто не сможет починить или хотя бы почистить , просто потому , что некоторые из них , либо невозможно открыть , либо потом невозможно закрыть . Мне например , чтобы закрыть недорогие часы КАСИО пришлось изготавливать специальное приспособление , чтобы при закрывании задней крышки не раздавить стекло . Настолько большое усилие пришлось прикладывать для защёлкивания крышки хлопушки .

It's a watch like I love watches, I have like 10, but good quality value ones. You can get a fake watch that looks the exact same for $30, and some of you are gonna say, but it's not real or the same quality. To those people I'd say you're right, but this quality is not worth that much. You're telling me that watch is more complicated to make than a Bugatti. Yeah no, rip off to people that want to flex and be fancy when they could get a premium hood cool watch for like $500

I find it interesting that Casio calls the DPX-500 the first ProTrek branded watch but I’ve got a JDM ProTrek ALT-7000 that my then girlfriend gave me in 1994. That watch was actually made in 1992. Casio doesn’t even list it in the product history but it’s got ProTrek written on it clear as day. I’ve also got the PRG-650Y. I love the compass function. Most useful thing when I’m in the mountains. The new Android one based one may be worth a long look.

Misleading for sure. That watch was sold at a price for a charity. The watch referenced here was only made for 7 lucky individuals. Sylvester Stallone was one of them. He’s selling his for around 2-5 million I believe. I’d say 3 million is a fair price for this watch, NOT 31 million lol
