I recently bought strive for steam's summer sale because my girl ABA came back, and I'm going to be honest because some things have changed a lot even tho I enjoy strive I'm still coming back to the old ones because they just seem more fun to me, it not the same for me to go to strive go jealousy rage on someone and win because of that compared to going Moroha mode and then deciding if I want to go Goku Moroha mode because of how chaotic a round in Accent Core plus R can be.

Honestly I think it might be easier on controller for doing the Kara cancels to do forward dash instead of moving the stick back to neutral, then jumping forward. That's what helps me do Kara mappa almost consistent, since you already do the forward input. Notation wise for mappa would be 236(66)9P/K (dash macro) and for bite would be 632146(66)9HS. P Dandy you can do same input, just replace HS with P

I hate how un-unique the Ending Quotes are from Xrd to Strive, Like, It's just One of Three voice lines, i.e: "Tch, pathetic.", "What a bore...", "Stop wasting my time.", and they mostly play on the Ones that He doesn't have unique Interactions with characters (like Giovanna), Which makes me sad because He rarely interacted with Venom (to my knowledge), and He's like "Hope you enjoyed your game, 'cause there's gonna be a barbecue afterwards." Which makes me pissed, sorry for the rant lulz

Sol is so much fun in this game and funny at the same time( keep repeatedly saying it doesn't goes old) same goes for +R. I find him so much hard time to dislike him. Sol Di into lose so much funnier than Ky Di. Heck, I was cheering for that and pot player. But I like to learn more May stuff in this game because she is so much uniquely fun and interesting to mash around with beachball and applause of victim setup. Even beachball into lose so much funny whenever it happens. Also that Ky color is good in Xrd. I remember someone talked about May Ensenga. Actually Johnny had Ensenga before May does in Acpr. But I like the details about her. How she tries to imitate Johnny's move and fails. Even when they both gave the same Force Break as Jackhound. Surprisingly, she has the same input. Thing I didn't like about rev2 is it doesn't include sign stages, 100% at risc you can access to throw combo and they are stupidly hard for no reason except corner, they didn't include force-break, ex-character and Robo-ky. Nonetheless we got the IK combo, tekken slow-down and offline DT( especially mortal-counter). Also Kesuke appeared.

1:12 "not a bad rekka" that 2nd hit kills any potential it could have had im combos, it has no range, doesnt hit anyone whos in the air, doesn't advance forward, etc., which is a shame bc it would have honestly been crazy with judgement loops also i don't think you talked about how crazy 6H is enough, that thing is frame 14, can be FRC'd after the hit to be safe, has ridiculous range, gives a combo on ch, pays your taxes, etc.

Hey Lucid, I’ve been taking a pretty long break from fighting games to focus on college, but after Slayer dropped in Strive I’ve been practicing with him and playing with friends new and old, and so far it’s been a blast. Getting over my old muscle memory was a bitch, but learning the new combos has been surprisingly fun and having true crossplay with rollback is a fucking blessing. Keep mashing and maybe one day I’ll catch one of your streams again and have another go at the monke man himself!
