Just found this video - thank you for making it. I purchased a custom bike from my bike shop in 1993: it was a navy blue Ryffranck with Shimano Ultegra 600 bar end shifters. At the time it was every penny I had and I couldn't even afford to chrome the chainstay. JP just did that because "it should be done" :) I sold the bike several years ago, and pretty much instantly regretted doing this. I didn't ride it at the time, but it was really a beautiful bike and it rode superbly well. Hopefully the current owner takes it out once in a while...

Great job documenting this! The older I get the more important i find it is to have stuff like this documented so it isn't lost to time.

Hi all. I knew and raced in a number of events when Duane was at his best. The sled here is not twin 399, it was fitted with highly modified 640 engines. i raced the factory version of the Eagle with the 399 engines. For a speed record with the bigger more powerful engines it was good, but not for oval. The speed record is impressive in that West Yellowstone is at over 6500 ft and they would run on the old airport strip on the edge of town.

We have what some call skidooza in Canada. It’s like a small bus but on chains, like a skidoo/snowmobile. It’s very cool, and goes everywhere 😊 Here’s a link to a vintage version, the only one I found ol kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f6yYiLZkxp68mac.htmlsi=KK3s5d-3dyZ3kKXO

Thanks for the video and also explaining things in both the metric system and the Imperial (American ) system. Question: is it really a city?? A city means people live and work there. ???

I'd kinda like to find one of these that's mechanically shot but the body's in decent shape, put the body on a Ford E-series chassis, and turn it into a cool streamline van.
