This is some dedication man! Definitely the funniest Valheim video I ever watched, and I'm incredibly amazed of the patience you've shown, to finish off this video! I'd love to see you take on Ashlands with this approach, but I do understand if you're afraid of losing your sanity trying to finish that biome!

And thats why you bring the feather cape rather than any other cape. You think that reduced resistance to fire would be a burden but you can offset it with a fire potion. The + jump height is a big help in traversing through the lava and evading asksvin attacks.

When I fought the Queen, I feel like that 'flee' change actually broke her. I know this is a year later, but I fought her and she burrows away. She burrowed to the bottom of the arena while I was at the top and just stayed there. So I rained arrow hell down upon her. And when I fought the Ashlands boss, he just ran away and basically acted like an oversized Greydwarf. He fled and came in for one hit now and then

8:20 100%... I've had STACKS ON STACKS of iron and been like "I'm good." And find out later in the game I need more. So I have to go out, find a new swamp biome I've NOT picked clean and get some more

Incredible video and storytelling, but I have to ask Why didn't you just roll while blocking instead of crouching? Wouldn't that be easier and harder to make you jump accidentally? Gj regardless, nice work!

Thanks! I did write it in some small text in the video but it's my bad because it mustnt be very noticable as I get this comment a lot. The problem is that doing that only allows you to roll backwards unless you use WASD and in that case if you try to roll without having enough stamina in which case you will accidently walk instead. Even if you avoid using WASD and just only roll backwards you can still accidently jump in the build menu so it doesn't even 100% stop that from happening

A more consistent way of dodging is using your block button and pressing space. You do not have to crouch

Only if you want to roll backwards. If you want to move another direction you'll need to use WASD and if you dont have enough stamina to roll you'll end up accidently walking. I mention it in small text at some point but a lot of people seemed to miss it haha

50:30 how did you block the golem, ive got 50 skill and a max lvl silver sheild and iron buckle and cant block shit, theres no way you had the skill lvls lol, so how did you do it?

Bonemass + high health + parrying. Probably mostly the first of those - I don't remember how it calculates if you get staggered or not

Haha cheers mate! Yeah I looked more into it and the ratio of the incoming damage to your health is part of the calculation, so having more HP helps, but probably having Bonemass active was the most important factor since that pretty much halves the incoming damage used in the calculation. May they never nerf it! Haha

You mightve seen at the end... zero. You only get the sneak skill from moving using WASD while crouched but not by rolling, so even though I'm sneaking nearly the whole time, i never got xp for it!
