Steve, I went to a Hershey Felder show yesterday and heard that portion of the song you've included to undergird this, one of my favorite songs of yours. Here's the download for other fans: The song is called “Vocalise” and was the last of 14 songs or “romances” Rachmaninoff published in 1915, Op. 34. Wikipedia says, “Written for high voice with piano accompaniment, it contains no words, but is sung using only one vowel of the singer's choosing. It was dedicated to soprano singer Antonina Nezhdanova. " For YEARS I wanted to know what that song was as it was and yesterday God answered the desire of my heart to know that. I have the MVWP575GW from 2020 and had an issue with the gear shift actuator. Adter being replaced several times, and a new motor and board, Whirlpool is now replacing the unit with this model MVWP586GW. I've now seen isaue about water fill issues in it! Something I'll have to look for.

The sad thing is that since the tech was here last week, it actually worked perfectly for 2 washes, then the next 3 washes, I had to stop it as soon as the " lid lock " light started to flash. All the best with the replacement and I hope it works well for you.

I have the same exact wash machine, but mine won't fully spin about every 5 washes. I have to put it on drain & spin cycle. It'll litterally spin maybe 30 seconds then goes to finish and it's still soaked.

@@jacobweiford408 Tech was just here and the videos helped to show the weird things this washer does. He did a diagnostic and error code came up "basket speed sensor fault". He is ordering a new actuator but not sure if it will fix the issues. Update Aug 12, 2024. Actuator was replaced. Looks like a $5.00 piece of plastic. Talk about cheap design. No wonder it only lasted 3 months. After it was replaced the tech could not get a diagnostic going but eventually did. The last seven washes have been flawless. But repair person still doesn't know why it is doing so many weird things and is trying to help get it replaced. Between parts and sevice calls, it's not financially feasible to Whirlpool to keep repairing it for the next four years.

if it works when you advance the switch manually then its the wafer switch. always check the proximity switch for lid, make sure its not stuck

Saw this concert with DC Talk at Clemson. SOOOO GOOD! I'll never forget it. He made a joke about the guitarist being from the Last of the Mohicans. :) At the end of the song, some fans paraded a HUGE golden cross down the isle and in front of the stage. Probably the highest energy concert I've ever attended.
