Insightful video. Thank you! Couple of comments and questions. 1. Extrapolating quarter TPV for the year is not correct imo, given the seasonality of their custimers. I am not sure what their industry concentration is, but i would assume ecommerce and retail would spike in q4 compared to q1 for example. 2. It might be worth talking about the geographical distribution of their tpv. Is their stronghold only in developed economies or emerging markets as well? In any case, good video and i plan to read up on the company more

one of the better analysis I have heard on CRWD, and I have read everything on WSJ, twitter, Bloomberg , CNBC etc. One more thing is how liability and insurance play out, lot of ppl making comments that Crowd is completely insulated from damages in excess of their subscription revenue. This is incorrect. This was not related to end point hack. Gross negligence which changes the rules of the game. Most importantly, even if their software is sticky and they keep their contracts, they will have to give a lot of concessions and companies financials will not go anywhere for next 3-4 years. Insurance may not pay out for all of the $5-10B damage. This is a cluster and will keep getting worse. Analysts are way over their head or plain dishonest

Adyen is ok but generally speaking, all those payment systems are way too complicated and they charge hefty fees. This whole industry is ready for disruption, the next one after introducing credit cards as the best invention in the financial industry. All this could be managed from one place like Google does, no need for different country-specific local Google who needs to communicate with different systems and charge too much.

Great work! Thank you for this. For my understanding: you expect for the best case scenario at a P/FCF 30x a stock price of 1732 in 2028? (The investment of 1200 (current price) would not even reach the 10% CAGR of the S&P 500 in that case). So investing in Adyen at the current price is too expensive?

I’d agree with that, mostly. I think the thing that could set them apart is finding a way to keep those take rates elevated, or even grow by 0.01% - that’d make them worth investing in at these prices. Of course, they’d have to do that against a market that’s driving prices down. The question to ask when valuing Adyen is “can their features and level of service be differentiated enough to charge more?” Right now I’m in the “maybe” camp.

Thanks for checking this out. Last quarter I still felt that true “fair value” was around $210-215 and I’ve seen nothing glaring in the recent report that would change my mind immediately. I haven’t had time to fully dive in though, but will be in the coming weeks, and I’ll put out an update when I get there.

Unfortunately not. The data came from IEX Cloud at the time - a couple months after recording it became prohibitively expensive (from $20/mo to a quote for $3,000/mo for the analyst data).

Thanks! Your video calms me down everyday I watch it when the market is pumping! I'm going with your insights. It makes the most sense with where we are at in the cycle. The only thing that would make me think this cycle could be slightly different is the overall increased adoption of crypto since 2019 and all the hype with the BTC/ETH ETF speculation. Model 2 & robotaxi are essentially the same thing. A product made by the unbox method. Some markets won't allow a robotaxi network, so this is for them. The van & other concepts will be built on the same lines.

I see Robotaxi as the software layer to what is existing hardware. A Model 2 is not needed to get Robotaxi going as the hardware is already out in the world.

What would it take for RKLB to become a zero dollar stock? Or even sub $2? Its got a good space hardware business so that would have to fail too, no?

As @runningman5871 noted in a comment below -- it's not entirely likely it became a zero. Sub $2 would be an interesting exploration, so I'll try and make a future video about that. Quick take is that $2 would come with: 1. stalled growth - if RKLB stayed at its current size $2 would be "overvalued" 2. massive dilution, slower growth 3. regulatory issues, but RKLB is geographically diversified here I'll make that follow up video though to explore the scenarios. Thanks for the idea!

True, there's definitely some residual value there, and in the patents. Still, I'd prefer not sitting around for years waiting for the courts to figure out common stockholders walk away with pennies on the dollar.

Thanks for a good video. I am invested in RocketLab. Do you have any idea how well RocketLab is bolstered for a slowdown in economy? Would the company be able to survive that? I am long term so as long as they withstand some sort of slowdown I would just wait for this to pass and then hopefully the stock price would rebounce What are your thoughts? Thanks again

We've never really been through a significant slowdown with the likes of SpaceX and Rocket Lab. I'd like to think it wouldn't have a huge impact as many launches are part of plans/work that's been going on for years, but I think we have to experience that environment to truly understand it. Nevertheless, you've given me an idea for a future video deep dive - so thank you!
