It's lovely, but why not create an actual bench? Also, I would have liked to hear how the frog pond would need to be cared for.

First time that I wonder how long this will look crisp and nice....those tiles...dropping a tool or something will result in cracking or breaking...slippery when wet and just doesn't look well thought through...just my opinion...would have loved to see the other design executed🎉

What a brave natural lady, just giving herself to the fascination of living things! What a world apart from the daily money grabbing activities that we all have to follow, to one degree or another, to "get by". So, there is music, and art in general, to make us into wholesome, complete human beings. And then, in the same framework of being complete sentient beings, comes the understanding and admiration of life on this earth. This is a form of art!

Area under the pergola would look better if it was paved, but I supposed the budget wouldn't cover that.

Great to see this. But it is only a beginning. There are so many irises, from the wee reticulatas through the so-called Dutch, the arilbreds and the Japenese, water irises ....never mind the beardeds. So many types and varieties and conditions in which they grow ,,,, It demands another one or 2 progs at least! Thank you for uploading 🙂

Is it my imagination or do many of Lee's designs need post-drawing tweaking to better fit the space? This is dramatic indeed, but... so much awkwardly shaped grass to have to mow, and no easy way for many people to sit under the giant pergola because the even more giant water feature just eats up space. I was a bit sad the jasmine was sited right in front of the Papa's Cooking Here sign on the fence. Still, the customer looked pleased and her family amazed, so I guess it comes out right in the end.

What a lovely garden! Good job.

Many bruises ahead from those tiles on top of the water feature. Loquats are tropical. An orange or mandarin would be more Mediterranean. The Aroha sign is lost on that drab fence. I would have started with painting the fence white, to copy the house walls in the Mediterranean.

I liked the more natural waterfall which used the slope. The garden was lovely but I really don't know what the purpose is of those gravel squares in the patio.
