An explanation i came up with for the events sometimes just completing without warning is that its a failsafe if it cant spawn the event stuff, for meteors the cave was so full of stuff there was no place for rockcrackers once you called it, so it failsafes.

Horde shooters have so many gems, left 4 dead is the goat but drg, vermintide, darktide, honestly id consider gears of wars horde mode, back 4 blood was decent, im just a sucker for pve games, mount and blade warband used to have player vs bots gamemodes and they were epic 😅

Game is wildly overrated. I got it on sale for 11 bucks, and it is an ok game. I wouldn't recommend it for full price. It is all peer to peer, find people to play with feels like playing an online game 25 years ago. Far from a dead game, but new players should get used to the idea of playing solo.

If you use the all servers browser its extremely easy to find multiplayer lobbies, even at the deadest hours of like 6-7am in the morning

Me, playing since everything was textureless polygons and we had 23 players online, with hundreds of hours, watching yet a new review of DRG made by a Green beard. I love the game... but back in my days we didnt protect lootbugs and I have a hard time learning why this generation loves lootbugs. I accept it, it's just hard. I mean, if they didnt want to be unilived, they souldnt eat minerals.

Just a tip, armor break doesnt work on explosion, only direct dmg. So outside hyperprop its pointless on PGL

They fixed it so it works properly now, but even still, fire is way better than armor break on the PGL. This is because AoE damage has fall-off, but the heat applied has no fall-off. So whereas a PGL without fire just kills things close to the center of the explosion and does a little damage to bugs on the edge, with the fire mod it kills everything within the radius (at least everything that was already a relevant target for PGL, i.e. groups of grunts, swarmers, and mactera mostly) via burning them. Like you said, Hyperpropellant is really the only time you'd take armor break on PGL.
