I saw this first in 2007, it worked when I was a nanny. I watched it again 11 years ago with my first, and it worked for every last one of my kids. (not everytime, but it gave me the confidence I needed to THINK I knew what they were trying to tell me) It still works...

I have a 2 month old son - our second. What does it mean when your baby sounds like it's crying, Mama? Cuz that wasn't in there, and I have no idea what to do with that.

The baby likely wants connection, engagement, eye contact, touch and your presence.

My baby does “neh” and “ow” together when she’s tired but gags on the dummy every time.

Babies have to eat sometimes every hour an a little more ever 1/2 many times especially during growth spurts. I had absolutely never heard of it until my 3rd baby I just had my 4th and last . Major crying was teething, hungry, or gas and anytime warping 7-9 months when they can see far and more clear they will cry for you as you walk away, they go through an abandoned feeling type thing. So many things I had absolutely never known 😓 if it’s your first definitely try to feed more this I messed up on also they aren’t meant to sleep more then a few hours at a time till almost a year old .. people talk about how there’s a baby sleep through the night early and it’s not a good thing it’s normal to have to eat every few hours at night for a long time which is hard. Make sure you take iron or eat lots of iron we lose a lot and that makes a big difference in your energy something I learned this time finally because I was always a zombie

I just stumbled upon this, it has been so long (it seems at least), this is one of the most kick bottom ladies, I watched a Oprah episode from 06, that is like being water boarded in your old urine (opinion personal), but I was expecting BS, entertainment, etc.... And was shocked, these are the kind of great women, that make being a man worthwhile, and I bet if we tasked her with a lunar colony , not only would she still be a great being, but finish one time, under budget as a start! Thank you!

This was the start of our communication with our infant. I honestly think that without it, we would have had a longer journey to build trust and communication. I can only recommend this wonderful approach.

My baby cries neeeh, neeh, neeeeeh with clearly an n sound at the beginning but at the same time milk is running out of her mouth??? Can it mean something else ? like "give me your breast for comfort"??
This is very basic knowledge in Indian families that our parents or any elder in home teaches as soon as we have a baby at home. This video is very informative for people or mothers who need that guidance.

Only works up to about 3 months. From then on the language of the babies changes. Ms. Dunstan explained that in a previous appearance on Oprah.

Thank you so much for this video. I can't thank you enough. I'm a grandma who babysits frequently and it has been some time since I had babies to care for. I wish I had this information raising my kids😊 This is so helpful!!! I immediately started recognizing the different cry sounds and now I feel more confident as a grandparent and how I respond to my grandbabys needs ❤️ God bless you
