Speaking of annoying, I've had one lady continually hit my bag after she deliberately moved very close to me multiple times the grocery line, and some other lady did the same thing right after in BK when getting the plant-based Whopper Jr meal that I normally get.

Pretty much straight away! If it hurts, you can wear an ankle brace or tape you ankle during rehab sessions. I made afew taping vids. Can check them out in my channel

Nope. I've tried it with elastic KT tape before. While it does help abit, it's just not strong enough. I know what you are thinking, that it might be too rigid?! Please do try it first with RIGID sports tape. Make sure it's not too long, as seen in the video. You will feel the difference using rigid tape. It's way better.

Made afew vids on the hip already. Try doing the stretches and foam roller for the hip. Works for me. I have mild LEFT hip OA from 3 decades of competitive basketball.

Wow I tried this tape method and it helped ! No pain completely gone😢. I had strained this ankle after brostrom surgery on the opposite ankle 2 years ago . While recovering from brostrom surgery I had to put most of my wt on my good ankle (now injured ankle). I have Had two steroid injections on this ankle twice 2 yrs ago and early this year another and that last injection took a few weeks before it even helped and only for a brief time. Have not been able to go on my daily walks for 2-3 weeks now, so glad that I came across this video ! Thank You so much. Grateful you shared this taping technique and was able to walk painless yesterday ❤

Best thing you can do is tape it. If it really hurts, you have to use a rigid wrist and thumb brace. Wear that for 2 weeks. It will help.

Hey Doc, i rolled my ankle 6 days ago hiking, fortunately there was no bruising but there was slight swelling, I’m sad I just ran my first half marathon and was training to run one again July 14, is it possible to make a comeback by that time?

Depends how badly you sprained it. I would keep icing everyday, and tape your ankle for the runs. I have a video for this in my Taping Methods playlist.... "Best Ankle Tape Method! Good Support with Minimal Tape"... Use a good quality RIGID sports tape. Don't get the cheap brands.

the mid section ive found is much easier to heal. insertional is more sensitive. mid section u need to drop the heel (called dorsi flexion when calf raising), but dorsi flexion is bad if u have insertional. thus, u have to strengthn both at once lol. as in doing dorsi flexion and no plantar flexion calf raises. BUT: WORK WITH PHYSICAL THERAPIST!!!. my mid section achilles is fine not after 4 months of physical therapy. i just have to worry about insettional now :)

It means you have wear and tear to the medial ankle. Use an insole to support the arch. Tape the foot if painful. Ice daily. Do the exercises in the video. Use rigid shoes like basketball shoes.

I have excruciating pain. When I put pressure on the front of my front, it pulls that exact spot where the heel and Achilles attach. So calf raises may be difficult. Should I just try to push through the pain? It’s very hard to walk. This came on slowly the last week.
