That noggin you have there has really been a busy one these days Mike. This shelf has gained a bit of weight already. More than a pair of gloves and possibly some fuel tank de-icer. I am thinking some gear clamps and a couple knee braces for it. Otherwise this build is great my friend. Get one of those small fire extinguishers too, Can't hurt. Once your all set up, sell the design on the net as it really is a beauty Mike. Hugs for you both and keep those ideas comming my friend. Yer awesome bud.

Do you have a fire extinguisher? A BIG ONE? I saw you using: Gas and diesel cans, soldering iron, hot glue gun, table saw, batteries, fuel pumps, drill, etc. You had me worried (not as worried as when you played darts alone upstairs, but worried still). I wonder what your neighbour will think when he finds out that his toggle switch from his tractor is missing? Great series, Mike even though it put me into rehab. The nurse has just run me a lavender bath so I must go...then it's time for my nap. All the best.

Hey Mike, Good day this Saturday my friend. Just 3 degrees this morning. It won't be long now and we will be prepping for that white stuff eh. Good shelf that will come in handy. Little bits of this and that need a secure home too. I was looking at the bench behind you and see it pretty crowded. I am always currious on what you have happening. Are you going to put in a knee brace on the shelf. In time I am pretty sure it will loosen up. They alwaus do. Of course I bid you both well and have a beauty weekend my friend.
@GrampiesWorkshop
@GrampiesWorkshop 3 күн бұрын
How's she goin'? Thanks for the nice comment Dean. I never put a knee brace on the shelf because it is pretty secure right now. But the point you make is a valid one and I have a plan to address that if it happens. The cross brace on the bottom section of the handle is just about at the right height to run a brace from it up to the bottom of the front edge of the shelf. That would surly stiffen it up and make it good and secure. What do you think? If needed that's what I'll be planning anyways. Thanks for watching Dean. Take 'er easy!
