I ended up going with Morimoto instead of the AlphaRex Nova mostly because of the higher quality "low beam" pattern AND the price (Tacoma Lifestyle had a $100 off Morimoto's Sale). I do wish the Morimoto's had the sequential DRLs like the Novas do 😢

Now just modernize the interior! Let’s face it that head into when it came out was already too old. Floating deck, sub and getting. Rid of all the paper one speakers is a game changer.

Hurts me that the single cabs only came with a 2.7L. Easily the most underpowered engine ever produced lol Right up there with the ford model A. I'd trade my access cab tacoma for a single cab in a heart beat if they came with a 4.0

@@austinreading1 Yeah I'm trying to figure out what to do with mine haha I had a 4.0 and it got wrecked. Bought a 2.7 to save on fuel because I drive long distance a lot. Learned that it's the exact same on fuel but getting to the hunt camp has mine all pinstriped now and it's hard to sell lol Was considering a 4.0 swap but it's so much work for a daily

Looks great. That is as far as I would go and i am 67 years oldish Nice job. I have a 2015 trd sport bought new just rolled 40,000 miles. Georgia truck. Not a lick of rust anywhere. It is a crying shame what Toyota has done to the new Tundras, Tacos and '25 4runners.

Just a heads up I’m dealing with a rust hole on my truck from the roof rack from the exterior I couldn’t see any damage but once I took off the side plastics on the inside of the hatch there was about a 3-4inch rust hole forming on the panel right below the torque spits.
