I had a 65 cruiser...you know,the car review people say the body looked dated, too square, too old, not modernizeable ,etc etc...i think it looks very contemporary with the 64 nova, and chevelle of those years...and much better than what ford and mopar had to offer

ALL delta 88's in 65 had a 425 super rocket v8. including convertibles. might have been able to order different 425's from the factory, but all were 425's. As far as I know, dual exhaust might not have been available from the factory unless it was a starfire or jetstar1. Dual exhaust might have been a dealer installed item. Could have ordered the starfire motor (425) that might have included dual exhaust. So, if it had the starfire motor & dual exhaust in a convertible, it would be rare.

Nice looking car but and not to be nasty or rude. By the cowl tag it was a Saffron yellow car with yellow interior. The car does have the codes for the 442 option. Not to be rude again but there is no such thing as a numbers matching engine for pre 1968 Oldsmobiles. The engine production number is stamped on the front of the passenger side head and has nothing to do with the vin number. The best you can do is date code the engine parts casting numbers. Nice looking car though.

In the video I thought it was a factory black car and is described as such. The correction was made when advertised. The rest you are right on.

I'm seeing a few modifications on the car, so the provenance to me is questionable. Staggered wheels? Custom heater and air conditioning? You don't put that on something worth as much as a true Yenko super car. The firewall mods kill the value. If it's a real Yenko, then the owner is an idiot. They were made for racing, not for weekend cruising. The wheels are easy enough to change, but the firewall is what gets me going.
@Steve_BigBoyzToyz69 Жыл бұрын
not touted as a "real" Yenko. Real Yenko 427 for sure and the car had some paperwork. One stout runner for sure. Car was sold a Mecum I believe for 167k ? or theres about.
