You forgot to mention that support for this item is trash. First of all, you cannot purchase spare parts such as certain cables, the x-axis adjuster, or even a laser module to use as a spare. My autofocus failed. which seems to be common for this model (google it), and support could not fix it. The flame detection failed and the laser continued to burn and did not return to the "home" location causing the laser head to melt. Atezr would only replace the laser head with a 5w laser and stated it would work on my machine. I'm still fighting with them to honor their warranty... 3 months later.
@geektoolkitАй бұрын
Thanks for reporting on this. One of the hard parts of when we are reviewing is we typically get the unit before its publicly available, and I don't often know what support will be like or what accessories will be available yet. In the future though I'll make sure to ask and get some statements from the companies, but the sad part is if they don't honor them there isn't much recourse (I had one company tell me they'd provide an accessory that they indefinitely delayed). I've been turning down laser reviews because of things like this....I never want someone to buy on a review and end up in a bad spot. I'm sorry to hear yours is in that shape...mines still be good, but it's hard to know if it's a one off for mfg or if the products truly got quality issues. Support however, I'm disappointed to hear that and will keep that in mind in the future.

I have no artificial limits. You can add as many as the pi allows, but keep in mind that playlist system only works one folder deep. It’s not pi5…yet. We are working on it. It’s a one time $5 fee, you can cancel after one month if you want. We don’t revoke the software or anything

I'm not sure honestly, I've not used smartthings. I moved houses and the next time I do this I'm going to go for either a cheap android tablet (or used one) or something else similar

It depends on the color. I printed SR71 for RC and when it was white it was fine. When it was black, it melted while flying. Turned into a wet noodle. I've since painted it Solver to reflect UV. The OS/image is provided, and so we support the OS the image is based on. It's similar to an appliance. You write the sd card, boot it and go. Hi, I want to put the Connect box into another room behind the tv. Dies this work? Thank you and greetings from Germany
@geektoolkit5 ай бұрын
I don't see why it wouldn't. You'll want to run conduit through the wall to put the cable through. This video is a bit old so I'd check on the size/style of the modern cables to make sure the conduit is thick enough. I don't know the fire code in Germany, there may be other building things that are needed, or less than in the US. You may want to check with an electrician or check local codes just to verify. I'm not an authority on the subject, just a guy that bought a TV and got excited :) Greetings from US, loved my visits to Germany!

I'm surprised nobody is simply emulating what the Harmony remotes do. I want to set up devices, then set up activities or macros that make use of the devices. Harmony activities could turn on and off the devices associated. The Sofabaton macros just fire the exact same codes with each press. Then theres no help function for when your remote accidentally misses turning on a device or switching to the correct source. I bought the U2, but I am going to return it. Wish I saw this review sooner.
