Never could get Chromium to work. I looked everywhere to find a solution for a very long time. So I ended up using Firefox as well. Does anyone have a solution to the chromium issue to direct to me. One correction, not relevant to the actuall regression, but should be said nonetheless. The number of medals one athlete can win is not limitted to one, rather it is limited to the number of events the athlete competes in (maximum of one per event). In fact, numerous athletes have one multiple medals in one Olympics. Just wanted to clarify that. Of course, from a certain number of athelets, it will be impossible for a smaller team to compete in as many events as the large team, making it more likely that the larger team wins more medals.

If you went as far as to do it from scratch, then you might have just as well done it in anything other than Python. All that Python has in this field is libraries. Because it's not like Python has any advantage when it comes to linear algebra. If anything, it will be slower than most other things.

VERY amateurish. What you want to predict is not Close(tomorrow) - Close(today), but Close(tomorrow) - Open(tomorrow)!. What naive AI and IT folks don't realize, is that more than 90% of the SPX movement happen OVERNIGHT, with very little volume.... That is, during the Open(tomorrow)-Close(today)... Just plot the SPX appreciation during daytime, vs appreciation at night.... Why is it that way? because the Fed is playing game with the market. So what you want to know TODAY after market close, is how to act TOMORROW morning at market OPEN. Try to forecast, and see what the machine learning will get you. Certainly nothing very useful. BTW, I am speaking form long experience, with bost investing, and machine learning. And BTW2, I didn't use Python. I used Matlab. Much more convenient, imho.

So a question, it’s currently 04-11 and I’m only getting the predictions for 04-10. As in I’m not getting the predictor for 04-12, it is also currently past 4pm so I’m assuming it is because the tomorrow price is = shift(-1). How is this a predictor then if it only gives me the prediction for day of and not day after?
